I have to agree. If you are a big enough bboys fan to be posting on here, why didn't you get some tix on the presale day? I have my tix, and the hotel already set up. I would try stubhub.com if you are still looking for tix(I don't trust ebay for tix).

That whole presale shit pisses me off. either sell the tickets, or don't sell them. presales are elitist.
MSG is sold out -- says so on their ads for the show. (Glad I've got tix, though. Seen how much they're going for on e/bay? Sheesh. Those Clear Channel cunts charge more than enough as it is...)

have to disagree schmaltz...the presale was key, especially for users of the website and this board. I worked ticketmaseter for about an hour, getting two tix right @ 10 to at least get me in, then searching for better seats and just declining the sale until i got on the floor. I dont know when the GA sec got sold, but I was away friday for the public sale and could not cal to try and get the GA seats.....that being said, im sure lots of looser scalpers sit there all day and just hoard tix with presale passwords that are pretty much public info and will screw joe avg fan out of tix. And for true fans crying about no tix..well what the fuck were yout thinking???? If i can sit here in maine and get tix even on thurs of presale, you have no excuse..and did you really think they were going to last long after going public???
So, im sure there will be plenty of tix ouside MSG if your really desperate...might be jacked, but there will be tix. I think i will have two extras for face plus tm taxs n bullshit (nice seats lower lodge) if someone wants to meet up pre show for some brass monkeys on ice and mabe a woollie!!!
I also have the dank for someones GA pit tix trade or a stub down....you'll smell me.
Cant fucking wait..been too fucking long!!!!! They are gonna tear the shit out of MSG!!!

there's nothing elitist about presale
1. free to sign up for beastie boys email newsletter
2. check out the presale info for the concert you want to attend
3. arrange your schedule to be on line when presale begins, as well as making sure you have means to pay for tickets
4. purchase tickets
so what is elitists about this?
as the saying goes, the early bird catches the worm!!

Yeah the day of the presale, I go tickets int he 200's fairly easily. I wanted GA tixx, but I'm going with my lady, and she's not into the "Moshpit" scene.

In all fairness, I should say I did buy presale tix, btw.
What is elitist about presales is that it assumes certain groups of fans deserve better treatment than other fans. (This, by definition, is elitism.) Those who subscribe to cc.com lists or the newsletter from this site have an unfair advantage over those who see an ad for a show in a paper and assume that the "on sale date" is genuine. And, as we know, it's not genuine, since selling tickets prior to this date now seems the norm.
All I'm saying is that all tickets should go onsale at the same time. Your metaphore about the early bird catching the worm only applies when all concertgoers can start on equal footing.
