Led Zeppelin's Kashmir vs. So What'cha Want.

I had to alter the main riff quite a bit, because it was in 3/4. I kinda moved on to the next one before I was finished with this one. I'll let you decide.
I'm out.

Not bad mate... still a tiny bit off-beat in places.
As a mash-up it's nice... but for me personally, I wanna hear something more original. When you're familar with certain sounds just like this fusion... the mix tends not to hold any surprises. Try and go off in tangents and go off on one!

The main riff got too spliced for my taste. The concept was great, but poor Kashmir got a tad too wrecked, and it sorta broke the mood. Other than that, it was quaint.

At some points I think it sounds very cool. At others...not so much. It's a good idea. I think you should keep tweaking it...imo.

I kinda share you guys' opinions. I'm a little sick of tapping into my music collection for samples, so I'm getting into the real deal, original licks and riffs. My next remix will be far better, because the the loops will be original, and therefore perfectly timed.

that's a pretty rough mash-up there. it gets off beat and then it comes back, and goes off again, etc. but it's definitely got potential. you'll always score points using Led Zeppelin samples with most Beastie Boys fans :)
