Yeah okay so I know it says no cameras right on the tickets but I was thinkin that this was probably a venue thing and not something that the Beastie Boys decided to put on there.

I use a small point and shoot digital camera with no special zoom lens or anything like that. I'm more interested in shooting the crowed and anyway if I do take pictures of the stage they will not likely turn out very clear.

I'm going to have my camera with me when I try and get into the long beach arena and I'm just wondering what the chances are that I'll have to go back to the car to leave it there.

I'm thinkin that there is a very small chance that I'll get a response here but I just wanted to ask if someone could please at least try and see if there was any way the venue would let people in with small cameras.

Thanks,

Erik

when i saw the beasties in may, cameras was a big issue, u weren't allowed them they even checked our phones  I think it has something to do with copyright or something if u take pictures. Plus, the whole flash thing, adrock has some form of epilepsy and a flash from a camera triggered that off (back in 89 i think). If u wanted to, u could ring the venue and find out the deal with cameras

Have fun at the gig!!! :) and if u do manage to get some pics post them (y)

Yeah I'll post them for sure. Probably gonna try just walkin in with it and if that doesn't work I might have to try something else, or just go back to the car.

At the BFD concert in June in california they had cameraphones and regular cameras too. I brought one of those disposable jobbies. At one point they even stopped and said ok...everyone with a camerphone take a picture now.
