Hi,
This remix was completed within 3 days of Check It Out being available. Unfortunately, the administrators of this board were not allowing new registrations.

Being a Beastie site, I figure the best people to judge are beasties fans and the guys themselves should them happen along and listen to any of these.

I felt some parts went a tiny bit off-tempo at times... but just a bit.
Still cool.

ha ha...yeah...it sounds like it in places. It may be because MCA and Mike D were rhyming in a wierd time structure in places.
When I laid the tracks down, I laid the original check it out track as a guide, with the acapella sat exactly over it then drew in the beats etc to perfectly match the original instrumental. So the beats are actually in time ( as much as they could be).

It is a tough one to match perfectly due to the MC's style.

i've spotted two remixes that sound interesting. one's on an american remix service label by FILTHY HOT JIZZ and the other is by jon carter and is called the 'saville row mix'. anyone know anything about these?

Oh shit. I forgot I had done this one. I'll have to redo it and get it EQ'd a bit better.
