I have to agree with the thread started by Adam_f, Why? Why are we just teaming up on an obvious minority. The past 2 months I've been posting on a very conservative board the very exact things I say here. This other group is a board I've been a member of for a couple of years. I was peppered by an onslaught of vile for saying the swifties are a load.

They refused to accept it, even when it was crystal clear. The Republican agenda is being fought on the internet. If you google like I google, the responses are highly favored by Bush.....is this because his Daddy was a CIA chief? Let's face it, most of the folks I have been posting with can barely spell. Their arguments are filled with glimmering generalities.

Lets all find a chatroom that is at least 50/50 or pro Bush and post! Then let's come back here and compare notes. GOON `EM! All together or one at a time. At least force a debate. Long time lurker, First time poster! :D

IN? http://www.propagandacritic.com/

Lets slow down the propaganda machine our own way.

I've tried several pro-bush message boards and end up getting banned just for voicing my opinion without flaming. The liberal boards are the only ones that will tolerate dissenting opinions. When the bushites discover them they tend to overwhelm and ruin the place, people leave. Face it, the pro-bush crowd tend to be loud mouths.

I always try to be cordial and nuetral, I never belittle, I always make a point of honor, such as a standard line like, "attacking a mans military record is pretty serious business." I'm always undecided and need convincing, slowly ramping up my stance with facts from the mainstream media. Republicans hate the news. Here is a copy and paste of my last post on a heavily conservative chatroom, this is about as nasty as I get, but it must at least cause some reflection......even if just a moment,

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All I know for certain and this is not a slight in the least, I probably have a dozen posts on this site defending Kerry's military record, each step of the way, day by day, I did what I felt was the right thing to do, defend a Vets service. All against a volley of peppered attacks on my thinking and Kerrys' record. (you guys know I'm married )

Point being, I now know my work will be easy, because I can research Bushs' record in peace. It will be interesting to find out how he served without a daily grind of having to defend him. You guys will pick up the slack.

I stand by what I've said all along, attacking a mans military service is serious business.

George Bush should be proud of his military service.
John Kerry should be proud of his military service.

I for one am not going to ignore either candidates past, but really get serious about our Nations future. It is clear to me that differences are out there. Big differences. What both of these guys are saying...scare the crap out of me!

It takes effort, but I'm accepted.

You know you are absolutely correct but like infidel said it's easy getting banned. I myself have been banned from one particular conservative board. The truth is there but it's like these guys have seen the chink in the armor and they refuse to let up. Truth is going by the wayside.

I've come to the conclusion the bush supporters just can't stand the threat of having their bush bubble burst when faced with logical truth and won't listen. Before I was kicked off the last conservative board the bushites were screaming for proof of claims I made so I went though the hassle of searching down links to news from the radio or TV that I'd heard.

It became obvious to me they weren't ever checking the links so I started posting links to bogus sites, no complaints. I finally evolved to posting links to porn sites, the kind that take control of your computer, won't let you close your browser, become your home page, etc.
I hid them with the [url= trick to look legit.
Not one single complaint! But they still screamed for proof.

They just won't even try to hear the other side of a debate, it's like arguing with a doorknob.

I have no doubt when the presidential debates come round that most will click the mute button every time Kerry speaks, they only want to hear one side of the story.

Another problem debating bushites is if you disagree you are instantly branded a liberal Democrat Kerry lover, I'm none of those things and bet most of the people on this board aren't either.
All we are is people who want a better president for a better America and bush just isn't doing it.

Don't tell me that you don't mind hearing Bush spew the same lies about freedom, security, trade and education over and over.

Ever posted on Democratic Underground?

They'll ban Democrats who ask the wrong questions and anyone else they don't like, regardless of how polite they are.

I think I slept too long last night, my grammer gone bad.

I got in three posts on DU before getting banned and my posts deleted. I didn't come in flaming either.

One thing DU does is post links to more liberal sites such as this so the bushites can come and troll. Sort of sucks, whenever a link is posted at DU there will be a sudden increase in bushite posts on the lib board that make it difficult to sort though. Many will register under several names to make it seem they are a majority, true to Republican tradition.

What to try one that is truely scary go here http://www.fuckfrance.com/discussions.html

I actually exposed myself as a Liberal, because these guys thinking is, liberals are afraid to even admit they are liberals. They did a random poll on the upcoming election and 79% of the board is voting Bush, 4% other. The other 17% shy away through intimidation...which is really pathetic.

They all think the Democratic party is a leftist socialist lilly liberal bellied bunch of commies. Seriously.

I told them that Democrats are only as liberal as the next corporate check they cash. If they are liberal, then I'm an extreme liberal. So far, I'm accepted.........which means I have a small, but important voice, which is what we should really try to do IMHO.
