Anyone here familar with Chomsky, or anarcho-syndicalist thoughts.

A sober discussion would be very cool among beastie fans, esp with the broken system that currently exists in the US.

I cite Chomsky regularly. He is easily the greatest living American intellectual.

Agreed. With the exception of Zinn there isn't really anyone else worth mentioning though.

how about cornell west? he is also definitely worth a mention...he's got a new book coming out soon...if it's not out already. i heard him interviewed recently on the radio...i think on democracy now....at any rate it was interesting to note he is not supporting nader this election.

glad to see some great minds here as well.

Yes, Zinn is also a person I have great respect for.

And, Cornell West I have not read much, but what I have read I have found to be challenging and progressive. I wish more people knew about him.

So, on Chomsky -- has anyone here read "The Fateful Triangle"??
