first of all, i don't know if anyone has posted this, so please forgive me if this is a repeat. (y)

i just got back from the universal show (it rocked), and as i was looking at the t-shirts, i noticed one shirt in particular had all of the cities listed! so.... in addition to the dates already announced, the following were on the tour shirt.

long island
madison
chicago
detroit
toronto
montreal
ottawa

i'm pretty sure that was it. i'll be at long beach tomorrow, so i'll double check again. by the way, this is only from the t-shirt, so i would think it's pretty accurate? (y)

well, until they are confirmed here or the beastieboys.com front page, i guess they're unofficial. BUT.... if they're on the shirt, it's probably pretty safe, no?

This is the best news Ive heard lately. So most likely Chicago and Detroit late Oct or Nov. Halloween shows are always fun.

I'm hoping for another NYC area show, but the Long Island on that shirt could be thier performance a few months ago when they did a short set at the K-Rock Summer Show.

I hope not. Because a show at the Coliseum would be nice.

nope. check the actual shirt listings above. long island should come right after the show at MSG. every other city is correct and from this tour only.

The fact that this info is available on a T-shirt and not on this website is a sad indictment of the importance of BeastieBoys.com.

Bit harsh really. It is possible that the cities are already decided but not necessarily the venues or the dates/times.

Woo-hoo! I hope you're not pulling our leg. I didn't notice any cities listed on the shirts at Red Rocks, but maybe they didn't have them yet.

I will go to all of those shows ('cept Detroit and Ottawa) if it's true. Montreal is one of my favorite places to see shows. The crowds there are always wild.

Thanks for the info, Holz! People sharing what they hear and see is what makes a good fan community. We need more of that around here.

saw HN tour at the Molson Centre and the fans were lame. I was 24 at the time and i felt like an old timer there. I bought a kid a beer for his floor stub and basically walked all the way up to the front till i was high fivin the boys...dont get me wrong, it was great, but nothing like the mayhem in the US on tours. Cant wait for the montreal show....im sure it will be the same.

There are people on this site worried that the Beasties won't come to their city at all!

There are freakin' t-shirts printed confirming cities for God's sake! If the cities are confirmed enough to put on a t-shirt they must be pretty finalized.

The least that could have been done, assuming you are correct that the dates/venues aren't ready, is that fans in certain cities could have been told that the Beasties would be coming.

Many fans have been frantically making plans to travel hundreds of miles to see the Boys worried that they wouldn't be coming to their cities. A message stating a list of cities without confirmed dates would have helped those people. If they can print up a t-shirt certainly they can do that.

The bottom line is this whole tour has been bungled from the beginning. I don't blame tpk, minton or beastieboys.com because they can only post what they are told. This is a failure of the Beasties upper management.

And to think....the Beasties used to be on the cutting edge of using technology to comminutcate with their fans. Now it seems this site is not a priority, ironically at a time when the web is a greater communication tool than it ever was before.

It's 9pm Eastern yet despite the fact dates in Detroit, Toronto, Ottawa and others are common knowledge there is still no word or confirmation on this site.

Why would you risk putting a glaring error on a t-shirt if you didn't know the dates were official? You wouldn't...that's why the shirts were printed.

So are all the dates listed on the t-shirt for real??

hmmm

I'm skeptical about that long island show... the shirt says NYC, LI, philly. NYC is the ninth, philly is the eleventh. so LI would have to be on the tenth. wouldn't it have been announced already? maybe it was on the schedule back when they were making shirts, but got canceled before the tour dates were announced?
