Yeah dude. That's the problem with taking your girl or wife to a show, especially a Beastie Boys show. You know the shit is gonna be off the hook, and sometimes you feel like you can't go 100% crazy when you've got a girl around your shoulder.
But fuck all that shit, I am not going to pick up on chicks or get phone numbers, I'm going to see MCA, AD ROCK, MIKE D, MIXMASTER MIKE and TALIB KWELI give it all they got on stage. And if you don't like it then hey fuck you!
:D
It's like Ad Rock's lyric on Shazam: "I represent that stupid, that's for sure / you be like OH YEAH ADAM, REAL MATURE"
I came to get down, I came to get down, so get off your feet and jump around! Jump around! Get up get up and get dowwwwn!

Should I bring my husband?! ;)

Daisy: LOL, yeah. I'm sure a good girl exists somewhere out there, but I'm not sweating it. If someone wants to bring their girlfriend to a show, hey knock yourself out. Have a good time. And hey, if you got a good girl who doesn't mind you getting a little crazy in the crowd, even better!
I'm just going to get down and have a good time. That's all that matters, having a good time at a show. Know what I mean?

Well ya'll, I'm bringing my wife to the show and we're going to GET STOOPID!! Hell yeah, it'll be the first time she's seen the Boys and she's really looking forward to it.
What's all this lame-ass shit "you feel like you can't go 100% crazy when you've got a girl around your shoulder." ??? That's just an ignorant statement my friend.
Damn man, I married the woman, I'm spending the rest of my life with her...if I can't get a little wacky with her, who the hell can I get wacky with??
I feel bad for folks who can't be themselves. Don't spend your life living to someone else's expectations.
Find that person who knows YOU and loves YOU for who you are. Then, marry that person and share your lives together!!
Marriage is the greatest thing ever!! BBoys are #2!! Nutella is #3...haha
Seriously, I've been married for a number of years and we have a son together. Life with my wife and boy is wonderful and I hope everyone feels the joy I feel when I come home to my family. There's nothing better.
Peace.

I agree with this guy. I'm taking the wife to the MSG show. It's her first boys concert. She's into them only becasue of my influence, but in the 7 years we've been together (married for 5 months) she's picked up a lot and is really looking forward to the show.

Oh yes. The wife comes along. Besides the fact that she bought the tickets, we have to go 1200 km to see the concert so it's a nice little getaway! heck it will be like another honeymoon. But this time it'll be better!

Wifey's in! Just had another baby on the 8th. So this is a great chance to go balls out together for a night. Drop the kids off early and catch a ride downtown. I've seen the 'boys 6 times, 3times w/o her, albeit we weren't married, but together nonetheless. 2 times she was there too but we went seperately w/friends. The last time, '98, we just got married and didn't have main floor tickets so the show was a bit of a let down, but It wasn't because she was there w/me. Anyway if your chicks down like mine is I would think you'd definately want her to be there, instead of wishin' she was. 2 tickets to Cobo Hall Nov.5 $106, maybe I shouldn't bring her after all. :p

If I was married and my husband went without me, I would withhold sex for a longtime and make him rethink his sin.

She rules, but you don't want to hang with her? I don't get that - BTW, all the guys I know are the 'stand-there-barely-moving-their-heads' type, so I'd hardly be holding them back (yeah, I'm in Seattle, where people barely acknowledge the band's existence sometimes - people down front even had the nerve to remain seated while Prince was playing - but he called them out on it and made them stand up).

Well well well, the guys you know, man I wish the people in this forum would all come to the D for the show. Believe me honey, when it comes to MoTown, there is no sittin back lame head bobin. I G E T L I V E , I here the beats and off I go, this ain't no shit, I guess i'm just lucky to be a 6'6" white boy with rhythm. As far as my wife, we are together everyday and she knows how I am when it comes to the bboys, so she more then happy to boot me out the door to act a fool with all my boys. Man I can't wait for this show.
