Yo! Shake your ass to this! I'm rollin on with my 2nd remix, this time its the grand premiere of Body Movin' (CypressPhilShaolinFunkMix). Pretty funky and for the critics out there this mix contains its own criticism!! :D You may recognise the guest appearance of Mix Master Mike for the intro!! Shit, he better not sue!! :eek:

Hhhmmm...

I like the beat that you used in this remix, but there are a few things that I didn't like, first off some parts the beat seems skippy to the next part when its relooped. Second I think the the intermissions you had between verses are a bit way too long, I don't mind having long intermissions between verses, but I think you should play around with the beat a bit more to surprise the listener a bit more and keep them guessing. Just add some slight variations or cut it up, but keep it different and make it unique from the rest of the mix. These are only slight issues, nothing really major that ruins the whole mix. As I said the beat is good, there ain't many Body Movin remixes and IAWGM mixes are even rarer. But you're trying new things remixing these sleepers.

Yeh, I see what ya both sayin, bits are a little off time, I was sure it was nt when I posted it after significant messing around with it but it was late at night & I was tired!! It dont think its all off time tho!!
To explain a few things, I am new to this & I've only been working with Acid Xpress so I have had a few restrictions in functionality & I'm prob not doin everything I could with it, but I'm trying. As such I'm sampling & looping snippets I like the sound of. I will prob invest in something better but I'm just having fun, I have no plans to quit the day job (phwew, you're all thinkin!!). Just to prove my amateurishness, I've just noticed I've missed the last verse out some how, I'll have to play around with it some more to get it right. Jeez, what a jerk!! :eek:
