Mix Master Mike and Boys in Portland

So the Portland Mercury has announced that Mix Master Mike and the Beastie Boys will be performing this Saturday at the Memorial Coliseum. They even put up a picture of the boys and lamented about how they were not going to skip Portland.

The Coliseum says that no performance will be taking place. Pollstar, BB.com, and google searches provide no information.

What do you think...is this a bad joke?

On the Portland Mercury website under the upcoming shows page - they list the BBoys w/ Mix Master Mike but there is a huge CANCELLED AGAIN! written under.

Interesting that they say the show was cancelled when I live here and never even heard they were coming to begin with. Screw it though cause I'll be threee hours north on Sunday gettin ill at the Key Arena.

Aw, don't worry, I'll be front and center for the Seattle show. A Portland addition would have been nice though. I would have gone to both.

As it stands now, even if I'm not in the front row this time, that is no problem.

I was front and center for Lollapalooza '94, the Bremerton show on the I'll Communication tour, and 3 shows on the Hello Nasty Tour.

Ah memories of bruises, mean guys shoving me aside, and damn...I'm gonna take a Xanax this time around. :cool:
