I've brought this up in Beastie Free a couple times in the past and the feedback has been generally positive; I was just wondering if it would be cool to get a couple other emoticons added to the present selection.

My main distress is with the smilies of the "I'm kidding" variety. We have the winking guy, which really just doesn't feel right coming from one dude to another. Then of course, there's the seriously gay pink "sticking out tongue" one, which is predominantly only utilized by those members who are without penis. And also, the green dude is equally useless to those who wish to render amusement or laughter, but wish to remain ungay (Not to mention that the last two sort of overlap eachother. Hey, I'm just sayin'...).

Some smilies that I'd like to recommend are a "thinking" one and one to emote a feeling of disgust (as though it's about to puke).

I think that most members would agree that my suggestions could be somewhat pertinent to resolving a few of the frustrations which can stem from being unable to find the right emoticon to properly and accurately convey one's emotions/intentions. I also understand that a few of my remarks may seem a bit contemptuous, but rest assured that I've meant absolutely no offense towards women or gay people.

Peace yo.

yes. i too would think a vomiting face would be really handy, especially in posts that involve maggots, slugs and old people.

...and reference to vaginal juices on guys' beards *puke*

i like the thinking smilie you get on msn... and the angel smilie too... but that one would only be used by those without the penis

More emoticons? I'll look at this too, when I'm home from the tour. If we can do it, we'll do it.

.... i hd wnted to you either or both even...*insert thinking emoticon here*

You sure about that? :D :p  ;)

And by the way, they were BOTH my ideas. venus merely elaborated on my suggestion for the "thinking" emoticon with the whole msn thing, which, incidentally, is where I bit the entire idea from in the first place.....so...um...yah....

Oh, I just don't want this to slip into the abyss before it's had the chance to be further considered by Minton, once he gets back from touring, that is....so yah, I'm bumpin it back up.

I'll put this on the to-do list and take a look at it soon.
