"We see a lot of kids coming to our shows in T-shirts and Birkenstocks, like they're on the way to the bathroom," said Horovitz, known for his tongue-in-cheek humor. "If I paid whatever it is, like $30, to see a show, I'm not going to dress like I'm going to the bathroom.

Worst venue for a hip hop concert ever. I hope its a good show, i heard the last concert in 1998 sucked because the sound in the key arena is horrible.

as far as acoustics......in the Key Arena,
A band must have an excellent sound system and boardman to overcome the KeyArena Barn.
Prince was here two weeks ago and the sound was excellent.
Funny thing is, in the same vicinity are 4 other concert halls that may be 4 of the best in the whole country, problem is you knock 8000 seats off at the next biggest venue, then work your way down to the Experience Music Project (Microsoft co-founder Paul Allens Wet Dream) which is an amazing hall....but only a few hundred can fit in it.
Seattle is just a wierd place.....with a ton of music. Beasties will slay when they play. OK

Well, I probably would have just worn a t-shirt (but not Birkenstocks) but now I kinda feel obliged to get all slick....Maybe a nice cocktail dress...
