It's not about the wallet size of Bush & Kerry. This is about Bush's GRAND arsenal of billionaires backing him and will do anything to keep him in office.

This (http://www.billionairesforbushorkerry.org/) group seems to be more in tune with the original (http://www.guerrillanews.com/truth_virus/).

I think that they have a better point too:

...Since then, Americans have enjoyed their freedom to elect either a Democrat or a Republican for president. This year’s presidential election is no different, and Billionaires for Bush or Kerry is projecting our 36th consecutive Republicrat victory.

We are estimating our candidates will win 94.9% of the votes, and 100% of the electoral votes. While we‘re thankful for your ongoing support, our success has really been due to the American electoral process itself.

36th? So the other 7 or so presidencies were back when there was no GOP (Federalists and Whigs and others) or what?

Even if Dems and Reps have been acting similarly as of late, that doesn't mean the parties have ALWAYS acted the same. I know they're being tongue in cheek, but it's plenty disingenuous.

I'd hardly call the election of Kennedy a "Republicrat" victory.

The election of Kennedy was another victory for the rich, the top few percentiles. I think that whether or not he helped the poor out or was different on issues is another matter. I like the site because it's not just another rant on how Republicans and Democrats are the same on the issues; it alludes to the well known but little thought of fact that this year -just like in 2000, 1996, '92, etc.- Democrats and Republicans are guaranteed victory, as are the extremely rich.

The 13th President of the US was a Whig, since then America's seen naught but Democrats and Republicans.
