I'll be there with my sister, my brother, and maybe one other person. Should be a good show. I've never had floor tickets to a concert like this, so it'll be an interesting experience for sure.

Well, unless you count floor tickets to see Black Eyed Peas at my college, but hardly anyone showed up to that. The hip-hop scene doesn't draw too much around here. Still though, if the vibe at the Beastie Boys concert is even close to that one, I'm sure it'll be awesome. Hell, the vibe will probably be better, so it should be really cool.

Well I Have floor tickets for this show, but not having floor tickets has never stopped me before at other concerts.

So just to warn everyone that has never done the stadiumseating at a big concert, be prepared to get jam packed on the floor.

I saw the Beasties at the Palace back in 98 and had 2nd level seating, but i would say about 20% of the people up top rushed the floor entrances and pushed past security. That was tame compared to the Rage Against the Machine concert at the Palace.

It was pure mayhem. but fun.

I haven't been to Cobo in forever so who knows how tight the floor security guards will be, but still be prepared for the floor crowd to be larger than expected. 15,000 people in 10,000 people space, It usually happens like that,
