Thank God I have made enough money in my life under republican rein to afford to pay $100 for a ticket to see my favorite liberal band

Not that this has anything to do with the Beasties live, since its really an attempt at a snide comment... but

When Clinton was president, we all had more money and a better economy to purchase tickets. We didn't have to worry about attending large concerts that could be possible terrorist targets because Clinton READ intelligence memos. Of course, he could also comprehend what he was reading. Back then, we had more fine men and women in the armed services at the concerts with us because they weren't in a quagmire known as Iraq.

Thank God its only been 4 years without leadership.

Im a republican. Dont wrry man ur not the only 1.

I would have 2 agree wit the clinton being a pussy.
He had the chance 2 get ride of bin ladin and he ignored it. How dare ne body say that 9/11 is bush's fault.

I think u took the movie farenheit 9/11 (which i saw) way 2 seriously. Micheal Moore is juss bringin up stuff and putting it together the way he imagines it is. Dont treat it as fact.
There are way 2 many rumors about bush out there being takin as fact. Dont believe Micheal Moore or the New York Times.

Would juss trusting the president be 2 hard 2 do. Give it a try. Its a lot better then u think. Watever happend 2 a united country. NOt a country against its president.

Call Clinton a pussy for not bombing him? So why is Bush not a pussy for just letting the entire Bin Laden family leave the country after 9/11 without asking a single question about his whereabouts?

I think all americans need to understand that its not anti - patriotic to be against Mr.President . If you love your country you always just want the best for it and now for america its the best to get rid of Bush . word. I also think you cannot belive everything you see in a movie or read in a newspaper but you can see what happend with america under the reign of bush . I like clinton better than bush but i dont think he was amazing . I think somethings need to be changed in away in america . The next president , who ever it will be , should not focus only on america and on his pocket , he should focus on the whole world and think about consequenzes and reactions of operation and he will understand that iraq is just a small combustion point in the net of terror . I just want to know ONE thing:
WHY oh WHY are the Democrats so in your face with everything? Pushing their opinions on everyone left and right, assuming that their way is the right way? It is rare when you see a Republican screaming in your face. How many celebrities do you see out their, wearing a "support Bush" button while talking about how "Kerry SUCKS!" and VOTE BUSH NOW! I've never seen that.
That said, why is this country so divided? I dont think anyone REALLY wants war- some feel it is necessary to save our country from terrorism, while others think it's terrible to kill innocent people. I really dont think anyone really WANTS war just for the heck of it. We are all fearful, and we all want what is best for our country. It's just sad that we cant all "get along".

This particular president had the rare chance to become one of the greatest presidents in history. He was the leader in a time when everyone in this country wanted to be united and wanted to fight back against these terrorists. I myself was at ground zero doing everything I could for anyone I could with no regard for myself or my life I left at home for those two weeks following 9/11. What has happened since then has defined our times and defined our very moral fabric as a nation. We went from being a nation united passionately to being a greatly divided one in just 3 short years. And you want to speak of leadership and trusting blindly a leader who managed to alienate so many people right here in this country not to mention the billions of others around the world? Wake up to the realy real world whoever you are and pull your collective heads out of your collective asses.

Funny how no one gave a shit that Bin Laden was let loose till after 9/11. Bush let the whole Bin Laden family leave on 9/12, is anyone caring about that? Oh, no, because they haven't done anything yet. We'll care about terrorists escaping from our grips only after something happens.

9/11 was Bush's fault. He sat on his ass, ignoring notes saying "Bin Laden determined to attack within the US", in favor of relaxing on his ranch. A real President would have actually DONE something beforehand, when he had the warning signs.

PS learn to spell.

Actually he had been killing people in the U.S. Military on many different occasions long before 9/11 but no one cared enough to even learn his name. That's why he struck U.S. civillians on U.S. soil. It's funnier how no one knew who he was until 9/11.

Incase you weren't paying attention it wasn't Bin Laden because thus far we have been unable to find him, it was Iraq all along.

Right off the bat I knew that this thread had been started in the incorrect forum, since the people posting here originaly obviously don't know half of what they are talking about. Read Up, or Shut Up.

people also seem to be forgetting that GW Bush blew his chances of getting Bin Laden by INVADING IRAQ. Furthermore, there are fewer government employees dedicated to finding Bin Laden now than there were before 9/11.

I knew who he was. Thankfully so, as it helped me figure out what the hell was happening at the WTC that morning (I was there, on my way to work in Jersey City).

It's also worth mentioning that Bush was given a chance to take out a terrorist camp in Northern Iraq (an area that was outside Saddam Hussein's control) but declined to do so as it would have weakened his case for war on Iraq. By the time Bush invaded, they had long left that camp. They are the same ones who kidnapped and beheaded Nicholas Berg, and are responsible for many, many of the attacks on Americans and others. Way to go, Bush.

And by the way, the Brits are going to start removing their troops from Iraq. That's not good news.

The Bush adminstration are a bunch of greedy oilmen who really don't give a damn about anything but their own wealth and power. Why people support this obscenely corrupt group of people is beyond me.

Very well said and, at least on this forum, there are a few who actually DO support these fellows as crazy as that may seem.
