this was a sign on the escalator at the local RT Mart (kind of like our Wal-Mart, only even bigger).

and, of course, SHOPPING!! i got these boxers for super cheap downtown. yes, mrs. pac-man ripoff. woot. (ignore my skin. the humidity made me break out like whoa. when i think of Taiwan, one word comes to mind: SWELTERING.)

i got these all for about 100 NT each (about $3 US) at the market downtown. what a steal. please excuse the jet lagged eyes.

this is a close-up of the giant spiders there. you can't really tell from the photo, but trust me, they're huge. about the size of a hand. at least. when you can see spiders from the ROAD, you know they're big motherfuckers.

im going to go with the "im a big dork who studies tall buildings contradictory" comment on this one and say its not the tallest building. they put a really friggin tall thing on the top to make it that way. but i still like the photo. excellent! (y)
