Wow, what a show. My ears will be ringing for days and I have a shit eating grin on my face from the amazing performance.

However the best was while I was walking back from the restroom (while waiting in line for the show) I heard the thump, thump, thump of a basketball coming from the parking lot below. (This lot is for performers, equipment and such, about 20 feet down.) So I walked through the bushes and low and behold Yauch and Ad-Rock were playing half court with 2 other guys. A couple other people and I quietly watched in awe. We cheered a little when Yauch did a spinny dunk thing and I doubt they even heard us. Watching them play was so surreal. It was hard getting back in line and not jumping up and down screaming about what I just saw, but I wanted to be respectful.

What an amazing show!! My ears are still ringing, also. I was on the floor, dead center about 15 rows back I would guess. This is the first time I have ever seen them, and I must say I was not disappointed. The highlight of the show for me was when they were wheeled out playing their instruments. I hope to see them agaon in the future.

Sweet. I got down there at about 12 noon. Waited by the artist entrance until about 5 o'clock. I got to converse with Money Mark a little bit. That guy is so down to earth and so fucking cool. MMM drove by and totally ignored us. Then finally the Beastie Boys with Eric Bobo drove by in a van and waved to us, very nice! Totally worth the five hours standing in the cold. When the doors finally opened I got front row center baby! Right in front of the stage. Adrock and Mike D where goofing around in these crazy wigs and hats and shit. I was the only one that noticed them off to the side of the stage. That was awesome. I even got a wave from them again. Then they had the dog show which was so funny. Dogs doing tricks on stage, classic. Talib Kweli put on a good show, even broke up a fight in the audience.

Finally the Beasties came out and played a 2 hour set which included the following songs out of order:

Time to get Ill
Brass Monkey
Paul Revere
Hey Ladies
High Plains Drifter
Eggman
Shake your Rump
Gratitude
Something’s got to give
So Whatcha Want
Futterman's Rule
Sabotage
Root down
Sure Shot
Sabrosa
Super Disco Breakin
Intergalactic
Body Movin
3 mc's one DJ
Right Right Now Now
All Lifestyles
Triple Trouble
Ch-Check it Out
Open Letter to NYC

That’s all I can remember right now. I think that’s all of them.

This was the first time I have ever seen them live. I can't believe how truly amazing these guys are. They are arguably the best musical group of my generation. Hands down the best concert I've ever been to. This concert was the best time I've ever had.

Thank you Adam, Adam, and Mike. Keep doing what your doing.

I was dead center as well, about 2 people from the stage. I was really surprised at the amount of assholes that were there. I know that it comes with the territory, but really.

Thankfully the guy with the sticker on his head got tossed.

Big thanks to the security for being so on top of it tonight.

Security was great! There was a lot of assholes, and I'm glad they got tossed! Amazing show. Just fucking amazing!

That was the only bad thing about the show was all the assholes. Other than that, one of the best shows I have ever seen.

Dude, they did play hey ladies, Adrock was right in front of me rapping "I rock a house party at the drop of a hat and I beat a biter down with an aluminum bat" and "my man mca got a beard like a billie goat"

They absolutly did play Hey Ladies. No doubt. But your right, it was Ricky's Theme. I got it mixed up.

Why is everyone confusing "Shake Your Rump" w/ "Hey Ladies," I mean they say shake your rump in the chorus (hell, it is the chorus!).

Let's hope they realize how much of the crowd is going to be the same people as last night, and play a bunch of different songs (Pass the Mic, Hello Brooklyn, Skills to Pay the Bills!) And how about something they haven't played yet on the tour, every other city's had at least one song that hasn't been played anywhere else. :(

Dude with Beastie Boys sticker and the guy wearing camouflage didn't get booted just moved about half way back on the floor during Talib's set.

Show was really good. Turntable's were a little low on volume during the first set before the instruments, but at least you could hear it. The swarm of the crowd for intergalatic was cool to see. I knew from the forums that this would happen and figured on the floor behind sound guy. I asked this guy why he's looking up there when they behind him and was confused for a second.

Anyone get the record bending part in MMM routine's right before the instruments came out? Made it look so easy like everything else he does.

Looks like the Beastie Boys are having so much fun on this tour. I know people don't like MMM changing up the beats live on the beastie hits, but I love it. If I wanted to hear the cd I would put it in the cd player.

Anyone hit the after party with MMM?

Looking Down The Barrel Of A Gun, Car Thief or Rhyming & Stealing would be nice too (have to check the set lists again, not sure if those have been played yet). Oh, and definitely anything from your list as well (y)

Nope, none of those have been played yet, and they are all excellent choices too. They just need to start playing 3 hour shows to cover all their great songs!

Hey, I was there last night too and met Paul B and his sister. They were awesome. We all got right in the front of the stage, right on the barricade, dead center. It was awesome. Especially when that drunk girl got tossed, she was a dumbass.

Paul B's setlist is right. I was so happy to hear High Plains Drifter. That's my favorite song. Not sure why they didn't do the whole thing, on that or Egg Man. And why Yauch didn't do his speaking parts on Egg Man. But either way, it was dope to hear those songs. It was awesome to hear Super Disco Breakin' also one of my favorites. It seems like a long setlist, but it went by pretty fast. I guess time flies when you're having fun. I think they played almost 2 full hours.

They were pretty interactive with the audience too, I like that. (y)

All in all, one of the top 3 roughest shows of my life in terms of the crowd, but the number 1 most enjoyable. I'll never forget singing the lyrics to Root Down with Mike fuckin' D right in front of me.

*Can die happy*

But I have to give the Boys mad props for playing close to 2 hours and rocking the house the whole damn time! Seems so many concerts now you get the headliner for barely an hour and they just go through the motions. My thanks to MCA, AdRock and Mike D for treating their fans with respect and giving us huge effort every night they're out there and showing all the pretenders what a live show should be. For those of you who haven't been to a show yet, I assure you you'll be getting more than full value for your concert dollar.

And I was going to say, sea_dragon, that it seemed they were very aware that many of us travelled from Canada for last night's show, so I don't doubt they'll change things up somewhat for tonight.

How come nobody's talking about how they fucked up on High Plains Drifter? That was awesome. For those of you who weren't there...

They started the song with Mike D's part "Goin' 120 powerin' over mail boxes". Whoops. Adrock stopped the show and made them start the song over. Mike & MCA didn't know they fucked up. In fact, Mike D tried to rock the house acapella by saying his line over again. Nice try, D. Then, Adrock had to explain how the song really starts. Ha! Classic. Adrock apologized to the audience by saying, "Hey, it's live." Then they kicked ass.

Hmm, funny how all of us had front and center barricade! I was there too!

I was just happy that Adrock and MCA noticed my turntable purse during the pageant!

Also, no one mentioned how Mike D. made that off color comment about MCA's aunts and uncles spreading their "seed" everywhere! I screamed "Too much information!" as they all got down and cracked up.

Amazing show. I got a setlist and a schedule that says "Do not bring illegal drugs, fireworks, and guns into Canada. We are serious. And please no jokes at border crossing. :)

Why is everyone confusing "Shake Your Rump" w/ "Hey Ladies," I mean they say shake your rump in the chorus (hell, it is the chorus!).

I noticed last night they threw in a line from Hey Ladies during one of the breaks in Shake Your Rump, and lines from a couple of other songs that they aren't playing as well. Like at one point Mike D said the "shit, if it's gonna be that kinda party I'm gonna stick my dick in the mashed potatoes" line. So that could be adding to the confusion.

Well, at the ripe old age of 28...I remember crying in the 5th grade when a kid told me that Mike D. had died of a drug overdose. I believed him. I thought the boys were dead until Check Your Head came out. People who say they've been into the boys since Paul's Boutique are usually lying. The album didn't sell well when it first came out.

So I've been a fan for a long time. I've seen tons of Beastie Boys shows. From Lollapalooza 1994 and the Bremerton show during the Ill Communication tour. I'm always in the front row, no matter what.

I was on the Street Team during the Hello Nasty tour and won the prize for best promotion...among other things.

At the Bremerton show, I was the girl who crawled under the stage and no security guards saw me so I hung out with the boys a bit back then...and got a free Coke and bottled water!

When the Internet was just starting to happen, I was in college and talked a lot online with Ian Rogers and Benjamin and many others. I even got e-mails from little Zoe back in the day when she was 6 and writing e-mails that said stuff like "I wish I knew you". Those golden years of the Internet explosion were amazing and I was on the usenet group for years.

I met a lot of people and even traveled to Beastie Boys concerts with other fans. I'm still looking to meet up with some of those people from way back in the day!
