So what does a person have to post to be deemed intolerant?

In a review of a live show, a member said the following about the live show in Seattle:

The Beastie Boys concert in Seattle was fucking AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"I got to the Key Arena about an hour before the Beastie Boys came on. I saw the guys who opened for them... pretty good little rap group. Until some white ganster wigger fag went out there like an Eminem wannabe and was TERRIBLE at singing. So once his fat ass got off the stage then the black rappers were cool to watch. A fight broke out in the first row and the singer was like "That fight has to stop or else me and the Beastie Boys aren't going to be playing. So you guys need to stop right now. Security get in there and do your job and get these assholes out" and everybody started cheering and clapping. So I just about fell asleep listening to them because they were moron's.

Hmmm, sounds intolerant to me. Especially since the white person of which he spoke is indeed, an African American and not white...

What do you think should happen? Should this post be deleted? The poster be banned?

For one thing it shouldn't be in the political forum.
I have no problem with a person expressing their opinion though.

Why not in this forum? It directly relates to the information contained in the forum's name.

Answering a question with a question doesn't answer the question.

Do they edit posts? Should they? What are the rules regarding what is deemed tolerant and intolerant?

As far as banning the person...no....but editing the posts? Yeah...I'd edit if I were an admin.

To the best of my knowledge, no one has been banned for intolerance, nor has any intolerant content ever been edited.

Why should it be?

I do, opinions are shit. Also that is not JUST my opinion it is backed up by fact.

BOOYAH BROTHA!
And as for the post... Uh its barely racist.... And obviously ignorant. Let him be, or attack him with reasoning.

If not for intollerance, then for the most cardinal of sins, using the greengrocer's apostrophe.

Sorry about the questions but I was just trying to work out what you wanted to do. Yes the Admins edit posts. They should do so sparingly though. The world is full of ignorant, intollerant, bigoted people. Removing their voice doesn't make them go away.

Guess who sounds intolerant here?

Take your political correctness and shove it up your crusty ass.
Maybe you can whine to an admin and have my post edited.

IMO there should be no admin editing, only deleting. Optimally a PM would go to the offender with the questionable post and remarks from the admin. All other idiocy gets dissed on the boards, -like yours.
