just wanted to know if anyone else read the SPIN (oct) "feedback" section about the Beasties? sure wish i knew that they were going to cover the Beasties this month - i woulda loved to have written an article on them. more positive verbs for the noun ''Beasties".

I read it and a lot of the letters were extremely harsh. One person wrote that they were still suburban imbeciles only interested in money and another wrote that they were politically uninformed.

I'm pretty sure that they are not suburban (they're urban) and if they were truly interested in money, wouldn't they liscense their songs and make a fortune?

It's a letters to the editor-type section... they aren't articles, they're letters. You don't need to be told to write to Spin, you just write a letter to the magazine. Maybe you could've written how much you love the Beastie Boys and thanked the magazine for covering them. Of course, I could've done that too...
