MSG show

I'm thinking of going to the MSG show in NYC. I'm in Seattle so this means quite a trip for me but I've never been to New York and dammit I want to go. And I can't think of any reason better than to see the Boys in their hometown. But I want a floor ticket. Does anyone have an extra one to sell?

I feel for you, hpdrifter. Since Seattle and Vancouver all I've been thinking is, damn, I wish I could see them again. MSG would be the ultimate. My husband and I were just talking about that last night. Sadly, the funds to travel aren't really there right now, so I don't see it happening at all for us. I hope it works out for you! (y)

hey hpdrifter, I just did this crazy impulsive thing and bought two floor tickets for the Montreal show! :D I decided if I could pick any birthday present for myself this year, it would be a trip somewhere to see the Beastie Boys (b-day is early Dec) so we decided, wtf, you only live once! (y)

Going to actually check what I can get for Chicago too when it goes on sale to the public tomorrow morning. There were only crappy seats left on the presale. Then we'll pick between the Chicago or Montreal show... just to let you know, Chicago is an awesome city, one of my favourites, so I'd highly recommend trying for that if you can't get NYC. Cool thing about the Chicago show is we were thinking if we do go there, we'd try and scoop some Detroit tickets too and rent a car to go to that show.

Good for you! You know I did think about trying a different show. New York isn't looking too good. But part of the whole reason for going was to see New York. Of course, I have never been to Chicago either. Ugh. I can't decide.

Yeah, I know, the New York thing is way too cool, I've never been either. It was a little soon for me unfortunately and the early Nov shows work out better. I'll still say to consider Chicago, it is such a cool city and well worth checking out. Beastie Boys in NYC is ultimate, but Beastie Boys anywhere is still pretty damn great. :D

Yeah, I'm just going to up and go. I talked with this girl at lunch today who went to New York by herself and she said it wasn't a problem. She had a great time.

I figure even if I can't get into the show it'll be dope anyway. I mean, I've wanted to see New York for as long as I can remember. And I think if I can't score one before the show I'll just show up and find someone who needs to unload one.

Truth is.... I have a ticket in the 300 section. But there is no way I wont be on the floor by the time the Boys come on. I went to see them there in 95. It was pure chaos. So I have no doubts that I will be on the floor.

Do you have any single tickets? Seems like I'm on my own (husband going to stay home with the kid). I'd love to go, but I cannot afford bidding on what's on eBay right now - and those are all for 2-ticket sets anyway.
