Yo, guys. I've been spending the last few days listening to the remixes, and they are F.R.E.S.H.

I wanted to offer my sincerest thanks and appreciation for your talent and dedication. You guys are badasses, and I'm grateful.

Meanwhile, last night I was thinking... has anybody ever remixed a Beastie Boys song with a different Beastie Boys beat?

I have. Brass Monkey beat with Hey Ladies. It didn't sound too pretty, so you know...I didn't post it. I'll bring some to the board for you.

On behalf of the remixers, thank you so much for your appreciation!

Thanks for the comments. Just about everyone who posts about a remix here is another remixer, this forum isn't remixers only. It would be nice to read comments from non-remixers too. Since this forum started, it is opposite of how it used to be. Before, a new remix would come out and all the fans would post about it, now only remixers post. I've been collecting the remixes on here since last year, this year I was inspired to become one (y)

Well, ShenGod, Since you asked, here are my favorites so far:

Hey Ladies (Velcro Buddha Remix)
Ch-Check It Out (Axel F Remix)
Ch-Check It Out (Know The Ledge Remix)
Triple Trouble (Cruel Cruel Trouble Remix)
Shake Your Rump (Rubberband Man Remix)
Sure Shot (Yeah! Remix)
Sure Shot (Funky Fanfare Remix)
Hold It Now (Taco Zip Remix)

Honestly, though, 95% of the songs I've heard have been solid. It's hard to pick the best. And, since I'm new here, I'm not sure whose songs are whose. So, to whoever's reading this: If your song isn't listed, I didn't mean to offend you. All you remixers are making me one happy, happy fan. Thanks for spreading the love.

My remix of "Check It Out" uses about 15 different beastie boys beats.

You should check out DJ Sandstorms megamix. It's on here and also I think at www.djsandstorm.com

Lots of b-boys tunes mashed together, it's a fun one with nice momentum and feel. :D
