I'll bet you won't be. I took my 13 year old nephew to the Vancouver show and he definitely wasn't the youngest there.

I saw some 8 year olds with their parents in San Diego at the show. Also saw some 40 year olds (besides Yauch) at the show there too, but it's mostly 18 - 35 crowd.

I guess it's mostly 18-mid 30s. But I saw a lot of younger people too at the shows, and by that I mean kids. It's fun for the whole family, err'body of any age is welcome.

I must confess that I'm a little nervous about the age range. I'm roughly the same age as the Beastie Boys and I just talked my friend into flying to NYC for the show there. I warned her we would be the oldest, but I just have to go!

I went to the last tours of Beck and Foo Fighters and definitely felt old. I knew it would happen eventually, and it's just not fair. For Foo Fighters, I opted to stay out of the mosh pit and get real seats.

My worry, when we got to our seats, was most of the people around us were in my age range, a little bit younger, but mostly couples... many looked, how to put this politely, um... very young urban professional (read: boring)... so I was worried we were going to be surrounded by people who would just sit there in their seats. Not so! The second the Beastie Boys hit the stage everyone was on their feet body movin'.

I have been pleasantly surprised recently at finding Beastie Boys fans where I'd least expect them--especially with female fans.

I'm 22 and a female fan - this age seems to be about average around here, but don't worry, we'll be old before we know it too - it happens to us all!

Hmm..I wish I could prove you wrong and ease your mind right now and say
" Well I'm 50 so you definitely won't be..." but...I'm only 15 and the oldest person that's going with me to the show is 16, so that just adds to your argument. :p
