Hey y'all - i was passing by the hammerstein ballroom this AM where supposedly they are taping the VH1 hip hop honors show later tonight and lo and behold, who did I see? That's right... the THREE MC'S! They were in the street performing triple trouble and then the cameras followed them into the show... SO... I think it's safe to say that tonight they'll be doing the same thing! When I asked one of the dudes working there he said prolly around 8pm so... I'LL SEE YOU THERE SUCKAS!

Mid October sometime. VH1 is apparently doing some "history of hip hop" stuff starting tomorrow night, probably leading up to the big show. Does anyone else think Public Enemy and VH1 are a strange combo?

Yeah ^. The first of five episodes starts tonight; a new ep. will be played each night through Friday.

Intersting fact: By appearing on this show, the Beasties will be "working" with Russell Simmons again -- he's producing the series.

i gotta bunch of post cards from nyc promoting the show......each card has a drawing of one of the mc/group being honored.......no beastie stuff on any of them.......wonder if PE getting honored has anything to do with flav being on Surreal Life......not that PE doesn't deserve it, but i could think of other groups that should be ahead of them.........

Im watching the "history" series right now.....fucking dope!

The old school shit is hot.....flash, herc...ahhhh 6th grade basement breakdance memories.

Wow, performing with PE, Doug E. Fresh, this is going to be hot! Saw the preview commercial, heard them doing Right Right Now Not, it was sped up faster than on their CD, sounded great...Cannot wait to check this out
