In the debate last night Cheney told viewers check the validity of what he was saying by going to www.factcheck.com (http://www.factcheck.com) The banner headline across the top of the page reads 'WHY WE MUST NOT RE-ELECT PRESIDENT BUSH.' The website is owned by George Soros.
I'm sure Cheney meant www.factcheck.org (http://www.factcheck.org) but too bad for him.
Interesting to see what Soros' hit counts look like on Wednesday.
In my eyes this simple mistake blew any positive effect the the debate may have had for the Reps.

Soros' website had 50,000 hits an hour, up from the usual 200 a day after Cheney told folks to go to it.
The site is no longer availible, how's that for good ol' free speech?

Pretty ballsy for Cheney to recommend that anyone go to www.factcheck.org .
Factcheck is a non-partisan site that exposes the lies that both candidates tell.
As you can well imagine the majority of the lies are told by the bush camp.

Okay, Cheney said to go here, and I guess this is what he means. I shouldn't vote for Bush because Cheney said not to. That's what he said, that's what he means, so be it."

The whole point of this thread is not to say that people won't know it's a mistake (that's an indisputable fact), but that it's a HILARIOUS mistake! :p

Because Sisko is a sad fat star-trek fan, he got mocked regularly with star-trek puns and wisecracks. So, in an attempt to deny this (which failed) he makes poorly phrased comments about Klingons being jargon for "tagnut" / "Dangleberries" - IE the pieces of excreta that get stuck to an individual's anal beard.

However, he fools or amuses no-one by this. It just proves how childish he is. He can't even make a witty comment about his beloved star-trek. Just ignore it, and him. AND DON'T QUOTE THE TROLL.

As soon as Cheney said .com instead of .org,I knew it was wrong, so I immediately went to the site, and it was an educational site.....THE NEXT DAY, it had magically transformed to a Soros site...."Yes, I'd like to purchase a Web Domain...Money is no object, I must have that Site!!!" :D
