DAMN THE MAN (the man being ticketmaster)

Going to the MSG show bought 2 tickets. $81 and 30 EXTRA DOLLARS IN CHARGES! Normally I wouldn't pay 40 to see a band but I love the Beasties and these charges on top of that really suck. The Beasties are a band close with their fans how could they make them pay 55 bucks to see them?

man, it could be alot worse!!!! stupid acts like Madonna or Springsteen( no offense) can charge over 100 US per ticket.. or that idiot Michael Jackson over $500 US per ticket... people would pay that shit...

I am absolutely appalled at what Ticketmaster adds onto my ticket price. On the other hand, I generally get pretty good tickets with very little effort if I buy from Ticketmaster right when they first go on sale. Still I'm sorry that it's the only game in town. You can't go to the venue and buy direct unless the show isn't going to be popular. And sometimes you can't buy from anyone but Ticketmaster.

I paid a broker for my MSG tickets and I think the high price is worth it. But I'd much rather give all the money for my tickets to Beastie Boys than a broker or Ticketmaster.
