c'mon who else is pumped? coming from out of town to see B Boys in two fucking days. Kinda dissapointed at the MSG representation on the board lately....big town, but cmon no pre/afta partys???? i mean christ im 30, but it's the fucking b-boys @ home. you know there gonna pull out some sick shit, and it should be one of the better venues for pagentry. Tried like hell to get a room all week in town and settled on some joint for like 6 bills...crazy!

Well this is the start of my tour and i really cant keep it inmy pants any longer. So shout out to all on your way and lets get some posts going and get this party started.

Locals, anyone...pick a place and lets blow it our pre show ;)

My friend and I are flying in early tomorrow morning. I'm so excited I'll never get to sleep! I've been working on my ipod playlists for the plane.

The only reason we're going to NYC is for the concert. I couldn't believe how difficult it was to get a hotel, but I've never been to town in October before.

Yeah i'm flyin in from Chicago, still don't have a place to stay! haha.. I will probably end up taking the train back to my cousins house right outside of Philly that night.

The best post-show party I went to in NYC was the Amazon club after the Roseland "Check Your Head" show.
The outdoor Beastie Boys hosted party had free beer, bungie jumping and lots of herb. Got to meet Adam Yauch and Michael Diamond. Awesome time. Dunno whats up this time around.

Could this girl be anymore excited "Beastie Boys dont you let the beat drop", I mean come on hometown show....MSG......surprises...... we're talking about guys that have been around since before MOST OF THE BEATS OUT THERE, ll and have stayed real throughout the whole time. I trace my first crush to Adrock when I was like ten (now im 26). The very first concert I saw was when my babysitter took me with her boyfriend to the License to Ill tour it was love at first sight. So now 26, going to a concert which everyone will be talking about, having a blast with my best girl friend meeting all the cute boys going :) and there are so many lil dive bars around MSG that a preparty should be mandatory :D ;) :o

Hell yeah I'm excited. First my damn computer goes down when tix went on sale and I didn't get any. So I bit the bullet and payed a little extra, but what you gonna do it's the boys back in the NY to the C :) Then probs with paypal (as if that never happens), which after a week finally goes through. And literally five minutes ago, the tix finally get in and I'm as psyched as could possibly be.

And slownlow, 30 ain't bad...I'm only 33 and still going hard. Haven't missed the boys on tour since well........the License to Ill tour ;)

native new yorker here, i'll be in section 97. i'm pumped. i listened to every beastie boy cd i own today and yesterday. A decent bar for before the show is the blarney stone, 33rd right off seventh. It's across the street from the hotel and a few stores down from sbarro's pizza.

I came in from Seattle for the show and I am stoked. Keep posting here about the afterparty, I really want to go out while in NYC, I want to go to a good club or bar before I go back.

Thanks to all who responded...unfortunately i was on the raod in TRAFFIC all the was from portland by the time any of the responses came in. Funny, "Tim"..we were at the "Tempest" right around the corner on 8th, more or less behind the venue, and had an excellent time....without being taxed on the beezos. We loaded up the jukebox with all selections from PB..the only BB cd in there (which was fine with me) and got busy. I was in town all day coming in from Yonkers in the morn....awesome day and weather for NYC in Oct.....Kharma was in the air! Hope all had a blast, and sorry i couldnt get messages while away, but if your going to Mass or Montreal,we'll get our shit together a little sooner so some of us message board nerds can meet up.
