i've been around a lot tougher places than NYC, actually the whole city seemed pretty soft to me, but I say that in a good way cuz i met a lot of peeps there and talked to a fair share of shady lookin peeps in back alleys at 3 in the mornin and everyone was cool. people were really helpful as soon as they found out i was from toronto.

as for scoring for the concert, i failed my mission :( but once i got there some dude passed a pipe to me and my girlfriend and we got noiyce!

thanx to everyone in nyc for makin my trip marvelous (except for cheftowny who appears to be the only fucking asshole in nyc, or maybe he's just a giant pussy who's afraid of big cities trying to spread his paranoia, o well, w/e)

....yeah, it's wierd how the crowd varies from show to show. I was at the Philly show and every third person seemed to have a joint or one-hitter on the floor. A contact high was unavoidable....but I wasn't exactly complaining! Glad to hear you had some cool folk take care of you and yours, and that you are not hitting us up on this board to bail you out of some shady NYC jail!!!

Oh yeah, at the Philly show, they showed a 30 second video interlude of some dude (resembled MMM, or at least Horacio S from SNLive!) taking a HUGE bong hit....the cheers from the crowd rated his bonghit as an 8 out of 10, heh heh!

The no-dancing thing has to do with this old law that you can't dance at a bar, restaurant, or club in NYC that doesn't have a cabaret license. Nobody really cared about that law until Guliani came along... he used the law to close down strip clubs. The law was never really enforced after that until about last year, when Bloomburg started cracking down on bars and clubs who didn't have the license. Of course, that's not gonna stop New Yorkers from dancing wherever the hell they want....
