i know its an old song but is it just me or is that the song EVERYONE is waiting to here. Come on play it!! Or at least play no sleep till brooklyn in toronto! plzzzzz

Yeah, you have chance of hearing Paul Revere, Time to Get Ill, Brass Monkey or Slow and Low, but you can bet your ass you wont hear Fight For Your Right

Have the Beastie Boys ever said why they dont play No Sleep Till Brooklyn? Or expecially Fight For Your Right? I mean it's such a popular song and at the show's they've been doing they have brought out the instruments so I dont see why they just dont do it? is there any reason why they dont play those songs anymore?

Fight for your right to party is a joke song. It was never meant to be taken seriously.

According to Beastiemania, they've only performed that song live 13 times. Once in 1986 and the rest in 1987.

Edit: As for No sleep til Brooklyn, my only guess why they don't perform it anymore is because they would have to change alot of the lyrics to reflect their current values. I don't think the song would be recognizable any longer.

they played "paul revere" yesterday in ny. :)As they did in Vancouver in Seattle, but I would not hold your breath waiting for Fight For Your Right, is the point I was trying to make. ;)

There are several songs you might hear from Licensed to Ill, Fight is just not likely to be one of them.

I'd love to hear No sleep but it's not very likely. Same with Girls...if I had to pick one song that got me into the Beasties, it's Girls.

ummmm.... it's just you. the beasties have just outgrown that crap and do not wanna be remembered for it. even if it put them on the map, they've been able to change their style becoming legitiment musicians and should be remembered for their later work. (y)

by the way, this was covered on a bunch of threads in the past.
