My Beastie history...

The first concert I ever attended was the Together Forever Tour with The Beasties and Run-DMC at MSG ('86). I didn't see the Beasties again live until Lollapalooza at Randall's Island (what was that, '96? I can't remember). Then, tonight. Definitely a GREAT experience all around! I kept telling myself that I would see them on this tour because I probably wouldn't see them again... Now I'm not so sure! :D

pretty recent shows for me..wish i went way back.
-with rage against the machine and bad religion in jerseyfor the mumia benefit what was that 98?? can't remember
-giants stadium for that field day festival 03??
-i was inside the mtv studios to see them for that show they did the night of t5b release
-and tonight at msg

i think that sums it up for me..its late and i'm not in a clear state of mind..could be forgetting a time..hahaa

My first time seeing them was in 1997 at the Tibetan Freedom Concert. Then in 2001 for the New Yorkers Against Violence Concert. I would love to have seen them back in the 80s but I was too young to go myself.

I'm from philly so I saw them many times.

1. LTI tour - opening acts, Murphy's Law and an unknown Public Enemy at the Spectrum

2. CYH tour - at the TLA, small club venue tour

3. Lollapalooza tour - with Smashing pumpkins at FDR park

4. Ill Comm. tour - opening acts, John Spencer Blues Explosion, and an unknown The Roots at the Philly Civic Center

5. Some old bullshit tour - at the Electric Factory (club).

6. Hello Nasty tour - at the Wachovia Center....in the round



............and tommorrow night I'm taking my 12 y.o son to see his first show. 2nd generation B-Boy fan in the mutherfuckin' house!

The Beasties were one of the first groups I got into in the summer of '99 when I first really got into rock music. The first time i saw them was this summer at the y100 feztival and then I saw them again in VA on Friday night. I'm not stopping until I complete a list of songs that I've decided I have to hear live and not until I decide that I have had the perfect seats to see them.
