hey the whole taping thing is new to me so im trying to kind of learn it and do it- the show came out pretty good considering it was my first attempt-the only time it gets kinda bad is when there is a lot of bass but for the most part it is nice and clear...ill let you know when i finish the editing

is anybody willing to send the show to me over aim?I think, and I could be wrong because I just started trying to figure out direct connect yesterday, but I think that if you're behind a firewall there is just something you have to change in your settings. Try changing from Active to Passive maybe?

yea ive tried that many times, i still cant connect to users to get their file lists.
i have a fast connection so sending it over aim or msn shouldnt take too long...

I had trouble connecting to users like that too, but when I did a search it brought up a ton of files. I searched for "live" within the hub. If you are in passive mode you will not be able to connect to other users in passive mode apparently, so this could be part of your problem.

http://www.neo-modus.com/?page=Help&categoryID=2 This answers a bunch of questions about this and tells you how it's possible to connect in active mode from behind a firewall.

I don't have the show to give you via aim or msn myself, maybe someone else will, but I just thought I'd try to help you out this way because ultimately you'll get a lot more out of being able to download off the hub anyway. Good luck. :)

yea ive read all of the direct connect faqs and tried all kinds of crap trying to get it to work through my firewall with no success.

i actually got connected to jtcann, but cant download files because of connection timeouts.

hopefully someone will send it over aim... the only other program i can get to work is morpheus but it puts a bunch of spyware on my computer.

damn this sucksI hear ya. I'm so sick of Kazaa and its crap. I still have it on my old junker computer and try it once in a while. The connection speeds are horrid now and almost every download is screwed up in some way anyway. Then there's the crapload of spyware every time you log on.
