We're at 7 days and rolling! Tampa SUCKAS report in!

Don't forget you can use the Tampa Streetcar trolley to park in a less hectic area (Channelside-Tampa Tribune Station) and arrive at the St. Pete Times Forum (Household Finance Station) in styyyle. Less stress is best!

Bring the Pagent!

Coming in from Jax FLA! Finally gonna get to see these guys live. We're staying at the Hilton Garden (is that right?) in Ebor City. Should I take a cab to the show or what??? Where is the best place to party after the show? Where should we eat? We want information!!! :D

E-Bor is how it's pronounced but it's spelled Ybor. You can take a cab or the Streetcar for $3 roundtrip. I think the cab would be faster.

If you want to party after the show, I think Channelside or back to Ybor is your destination. Nearby places might be closed by the time the Beasties show rinses out (damn you Tuesday nights!).

For food before the show, you can walk on 7th avenue and chow it up at any place you think you might like. Frankie's Patio is supposed to have good food. There is a boss little Italian joint on 7th. Spaghetti Warehouse in Ybor is also a solid, solid choice.

I just saw the Boys in Sunrise at the Office Depot Center. My advice....Do not leave after Intergallactic. A bunch of people thought it was over and missed out on a great closing set ending with Sabotage. Enjoy the show. The South Florida show was awesome.

No, hardly any people dressed up. I saw a few dressed up as characters from Sabotage and a girl in the front of GA who kept waving pom poms all night, but besides that, not much. Remember Miami/Ft lauderdale is like a whole nother country down here, most people aren't in tune with what's going on, so not many knew about "the pageant". But a lot of people sure were concerned with the Red Sox/Yankees game. Kept checking their phones for updates, and screaming out scores. Then after the show a ton of people huddled around tv's in the arena til after the game, then started chanting "Yankees Suck!!!" I wonder if these knuckleheads are going to be so consumed and worried about the election in 2 weeks as they are with the baseball game???

Hey now. I was in that crowd of knuckleheads after the show. I thought it was great watching the end of the game after the show. By the way, I will vote for Kerry. No worries. Mike D did thank all the people that dressed for the pageant. Dress up and have fun.

The shit that bugged me was during the Beastie's performance the guys right behind me kept shouting at the score of the game, and yelling Yankees suck!!! I'm interested in the outcome of the series between them, but not while the Beastie's are playing, that's all. Sorry, maybe you are not a knucklehead, but there were certainly plenty of them there :) . But I didn't let it ruin the fun or anything, just commenting on what went on.
