Good show except for this huge fat kid who kept pushing me because I was going through to the front, lucky fuck that I believe were all brothers and sisters at these shows. But it was enjoyable (Was hoping for a Reagan Youth cover, but hey, I cant get everything)

My boyfriend and I had a BLAST! We sat near an MTV VJ and he was rockin' out hardcore..it was pretty funny.

Though my bf is the Beastie fan, I can honestly say that I respect their talent and they really do have some great music. The show was killer...good thing too since the Red Sox lost, needed a good way to end the night (n)

The show was insane. Best hip hop show EVER.

MCA 'passed the mic' to my friend Alan up in section 124 and I saw it on the screen from the front row.

They did "Super Disco Breakin'. My night was complete.

A lot of meatheads now listen to the Beastie Boys though. Oh well...

Jeez, that just about gave me a heart attack... thanks for clearing it up.Yeah, near heart attack here too. I saw that and thought, 'omg, I might see Get It Together at the Chicago or Madison shows!' ...but false alarm. That's cool. I'll recover... eventually. ;)

I think a good time was had by all! It was my first show. I was shocked to end up in the first row. I thought the crowd was going to be alot more rowdy! I really was hoping for a little High Planes Drifter but i guess you can't get it all. The boys were awsome live. Great show!!!!!!

A lot of meatheads now listen to the Beastie Boys though. Oh well...

Always have, and for some reason even more so in Worcester. The Hello Nasty show was a near riot with people streaming from the stands onto the floor at the begging of the show. Stupid fucks hurt a lot of people. If I remember correctly the BB made a few comments about it on their tour log from the old site.

Great show last night, Mix Master Mike is fucking Nasty

I met up with BEANTOWNBEASTIE at JJ Juggs before the show. Great time. The show was amazing!! Have to say it was the best Beastie show I've been to. The crowd seemed a bit more mellow then previous Worcester shows. No rushing to the floor which I was surprised about. Loved when the Boys came out with their instruments. Was digging the blue tuxes. Hearing Skills to Pay the Bills was all worth it. Watching the Boys dance around the stage was quite amusing. Great to see the Boys still at the top of their game. Thanks for an amazing evening Beastie Boys!!

It was freaking great - even the dog show was cool. Some of the little videos they were playing were funny (especially the bong hit webcam guy) and their comments between songs were a riot. At first I thought that Mike D's "eastie Boys" shirt was intentional, but then MCA ripped off a couple other letters. Nice fakeout at the end with the house lights after Intergalactic - lots of people started to leave, but having seen the setlists here, I knew there were two more songs!

I think a couple people might have been smoking weed at the show! ;) Did anyone else notice that? :D

mellow show in all....especially after the Boys diised that asshole moshing all agro after the first few songs...it was pretty apparent everyone was chillin down front and then this asswipe strted throwing elbows and pushing people into the pit who obviously just wanted to enjoy the show close up. I mean its pretty pathetic when the boys stop the show and single you out and tell you to chill the fuck out (for those of you not there, they actully stopped between songs and served this looser in front of everyone....pretty funny, they put the spot on him and all....)

I mean, moshings all right and all, but in the right place at the right time....the mosh pit at MSG was one of the best ive ever been into as far as comraderie and everyone looking out for each other and just dancing, not trying to start something, and this was this asshole's MO.

was really surprised more poeple didnt get live on the floor, and very few came down from the stands...and security was pretty light. maybee the wristbands eliminated that....but it wasnt as chill as the front of MSG...props for the garden for not overselling the GA area, and keeping all the meat out.

As for the show, i'd have to say a little better than MSG, even though setlists were very similar (my only complaint with this tour). Thye still seemed hyped to be on tour, and were awfully playfull with the crowd last night. A few screw ups, but who doesnt...and the imprompto freestyle at the end of one of the later tracks was dope...althoug only three or four verses...and im pretty sure they did an additional verse on the intergalactic ending as MCA had a rather lengthy pause and then resumed for one more verse...i could have sworn the song was over. Skills to pay the Bills had to be the highlight for myself, but alot of people have been enjoying Intergalactic (which they rocked last night) and Sabotage (overplayed)...ahhh finally some dancing on the floor.

I think they were quite effective in quelling any further disruptive dancing in the pit when they went off on that douchebag however they scared off the kids a little bit as it was pretty mellow down there after that incident........maybe cause all the LOOSERS wearing thier redsux gear were too busy checking thier cellies to see the sox getting crushed!

oh, and EGGMAN was money too.

next stop Montreal! :p

Thank you for finally fucking saying it. What is up with peeps in Boston? Do we not know anything more than Yankees Suck? That was fucking embarassing. Look people, you chose to be at the concert instead of at home watching a shitty played game flicking your dicks. And yet I saw some douche carrying a portable t.v. with a 3 foot antenna!!! I would like to personally apologize to the BBOYS for the disrespect that most of the crowd showed last night. This was by far the lamest tamest show I have ever seen and I have seen them at two shows every tour since Check your Head. Yeah, I'm old. I'm in the pit about 6 rows back and no one was dancing?!?!?!? What the fuck?!!? This will be my last show in Massachusetts. It's sad when Texas rocks out way the fuck harder than Boston.

I was standing right next to that shithead. what i was trying to say in my previous ppost before the server went down, was that I thought it was really too bad when they singled him out and did that. Not for him, but all of us...i think people wee a little taken back, and it got real mellow after that...to the point where people were afraid to get busy...not quite a show killer, but it really brought it down in my section thanks to this asshole. I doubt he has the mental capacity to approach such a thing as a "forum", but i wish he knew what a looser he looked like out there busting everyone up. i knew it was bad when someone went down in there, and no one attempted to get them up.

That section was full of your typical grade of meat found only in MASS

I was glad they did sinlge him out. The B-Boys want a nice cool show that you can dance too. Not to be moshed around by fat flabby frat jerks. There are young ladies out in the crowd getting plowed around. And don't try that "well, they shouldnt be out there" shit, because the tickets say Floor not Mosh Pit. And who the fuck moshes anymore anyways? Didnt that shit go out in the 90's?

What the fuck? It's a Hip Hop show people... Not go and get drunk and plow people over so you can closer to the stage. Relax, dance, be friendly to your neighbor. Sometimes people in public settings really suck.

Just Sayin'.

You're missing the point buddy. No one here wanted a mosh pit either or crowd surfing which made it's lame ass comeback last night. But when you reprimand someone for doing something than everyone is afraid to do anything else. i.e. dance. jump up and down. get crunk :) go berzerk. I have been to Beach Boys concerts with more crowd support and that is by 50 year olds smoking doobies and trying to surf on a lawn chair to Good Vibrations.

This is my first post, so I'll try to contain myself.

What's with all of the negativity on this thread?

The show kicked ass! Only my 2nd beasties show, first one was in 98, but man.. they still got it.

But as for all of the hostility towards the red sox fans - come on people. Boston has the most dedicated fans in the country. And last night happened to be the first game of the f'in playoffs! What the hell did you think people were gonna do? Did you think all the red sox/beasties fans would not get tickets because the red sox MAY make it to the playoffs??? I have to admit that the portable tv is a bit much, but no problem with checking the score and shit.

And someone else made a comment about the losers that like the beasties these days.. yes, LOTS of DIFFERENT people like the beastie boys. Nothing wrong with that - Diverisity is interesting.

I won my tix from WBCN, and the seats rocked. First row of section 124. Could only see the guys hats when they did Intergalactic above us though, cause I'm so darn short! And I got to sit next to a really cute guy..that was nice for the moment. So thank you BCN!

Love to everyone ~ :p

wow.. i know i said it already, but that was an amazing show. I got all depressed this morning sitting in math when i looked at the board and saw October 13th written on it because i realized it wasnt the 12th anymore and it will probably be at least 3 years before i see them again. i couldn't pay attention all day because all i could think about was the concert.

talib kweli was pretty good i thought, but we were sitting in section 210 row M so we couldnt hear all that well. and i was freaking out because my sister and her friend went to the ATM and didnt come back for about an hour and a half (apparently the line was absolutely insane). they got back just when MMM came on the stage.

wow.. every one of my friends laughed at me all week for going to a beastie boys concert "omg they're like 50 years old ew. omg and like.. they're wrinkly and weird" but if they had been there im sure they all would have been astounded.. those boys rocked out like they weren't a day over 30. but with all the benifits because they don't take crap from lame-asses like that one guy im sure we've all heard about by now. it was the best thing ever to be in a whole arena full of screaming people who all love them.. when normally im just the weird one because i actually prefer the beastie boys over Usher.

we figured out that they werent checking tickets at all, so we went down to the lower section to look it over and in 108 there was this whole area of open seats. we asked these guys if anyone was sitting there and they said no so we put our stuff down. it was so much better, and i was in shock for about 10 minutes when i realized that the 3 guys i've been obsessed with for about 7 months now weren't just a video on my tv or computer.. they were actually dancing and jumping and singing right infront of me.

Somthing's Got to Give was probably my favorite.. the whole instrumental part was unbelievable. I was right alongside all the drunk college guys dancing and yellin out the lyrics to paul revere. I did get some sketchy looks from people.. seeing as i was defiantly one of the youngest there. Sabotage was crazy.. adrock was like pulsating and screaming and pretty much looked like he was going to throw up. and they played super disco breakin (y) as for all the hating on the red sox fans.. i was one of the people checkin for the score during the breaks.. but i thought it was kind of rude when everyone chanted yankees suck.. they could have said "go red sox!" but they didnt need to tell these guys that the baseball players representing their hometown suck..

now i have nothing to compare this concert to.. so it was probably pretty mellow but it was definatly one of the best nights of my life. im wishing i had baught tickets for the ny show.. i would give anything to be able to see them again. im sad cause i prolly wont get to see them too many more times.. i hate that i missed out on basically 20 years of my favorite artists. next time another tour rolls around.. ill prolly be a senior and i'll be like one of those rodies the bboys kept pointing out and thanking (lucky bastards  ) who go to as many concerts as possible. thanks adam, adam, and mike for one hell of a tuesday night (!)

My night didnt start out good, but it ended fucking awesome. I was smoking a bowl before the concert at the parking garage across the st when I noticed cameras. So I booked it downstairs to the mall... I passed a cop on the way... then 3 security guards. Then in the mall I heard on a janitors walkie talkie someone said " umm I saw those kids leave the garage." So i had to throw out my beautiful, beloved pipe The Dirty Hippie and his food. That show was insane. Maybe it was because I've been listening to the Beastie Boys for as long as I can remember thanks to my big brothers and have always anticipated this day. SOOO amazing. No other words to describe. I love the Beasties even more than ever! And Talib Kwali was reallly good too. I hate when your just dying through the opening. Thank Beasties for turning my night around, you rock!

also video's.. if anyone got any video clips from the concert that would be awesome..

and did anyone here leave before gratitude started? just curious.. since i read all the reveiws and shit i knew it was coming. we were tryin to tell all the people around us to stay put and that they would play 2 more songs but everyone was grabbing their stuff and started movin out the door.. but i guess if the people infront of us hadn't left we wouldnt have been able to hop over about 9 rows and get even closer

and yauch, you definatly should have come over to the left side for Intergalactic instead of the right.. i would have been right there! and i know you've just been dying to meet me!

Great show. I opted to sit in the seats. I had floor tickets too but didn't feel like fighting the fight when my seats were probably just as close. I usually bring cameras to every show but the Centrum doesn't allow them and I got kicked out of the hartford civic center by the Hartford Police last year and didn't feel like making an early exit. But the Boys put on a great show as always and I hope they come back soon. (y)

oh i know you noticed that weed smoke...the security guys were rolling up on us even in the cheap seats...we had to move like three times between when kweli started and the beasties started...so we settled on dead center in the back section...they finally left us alone...and it was the best show of my life...

When I was America a few years ago, I was walking down the street one day wearing a pair of shorts with a Yankees logo on 'em, and these two fellas started shouting at me..."YANKEES SUCK!" . They were fierce stressed out about it. One of them punched the wall nearby. Probably.

I was wondering what was going on in the crowd. I heard them say that but i didn't realize it was a fight. Much respect for stopping it. As for the yankees chant, it is decades of anger and frustration. Being a Sox fan isn't easy, but one of these days they will get it right. (Hopefully in my lifetime!)

I saw the Boys at MSG and at Worcester, Ma. The MSG show rocked...of course we all know it would because that's their hometown. I was a little disappointed at the crowd in Worcester. Half the peeps around me were asking me who Talib Kwali was. WTF!!! I do have to say it was a completly different crowd in both cities. Yauch undefinedthanks for talking to dude that was fighting down on the floor. People shouldn't ruin a good time for others. Yauch I also want to say thanks to you and the boys for coming out in our section 124. you made my boyfriend Alan's night by giving him the mic and rapping with him. He's been fans of ya'll since you all started. Thanks for a great show!

I went to both shows as well. The MSG show was better but I was on the floor right up front at Worcester and that was unbelievable! They both rocked, just in differnt ways.

the way the floor was cordioned off at MSG was unbelievable. I had GA/Pit tix and the area was secure and not oversold. One of the best viewing/audio experiences ever in my 200+ live show experience. Plenty of room to move dance/mosh..whatever. Because the whole floor @ Worcester was GA it was much tighter, but i think musically the worcester show was a tad better..as much as i hate to admit it...although Doug E. was off the hook in NYC. Both unbelievable shows! Thank you boys. (y)

A fair amount of Beastie Boys fans DON'T follow much hip hop, so how would they know? The only reason I ever heard of him was he was a part of a duo with that racist fuck Mos Def called Blackstarr who did a show with De La Soul and Eminem back in '97 I was at.. Other than that, I never hear his name mentioned (except for a month ago when I saw him perform at a show I was at).

to me talib sounded no different than any other rapper out there today.i found it hard to understand what he was saying. "hip-hop" is all so stagnant today. rhymes all about the same things, beats and rhyme techniques are the same, no one stands out anymore, you can't distinguish anyone, and mostly every song has to be bleeped on the radio so and it sounds all chopped up. one guy will have a hit song so EVERYONE copies that styleand beat. hip-hop was good till 1998, they shouldn't call it hip hop anymore, it's just rap now. at least the beasties stand out and jurassic five is good too. the show was awesome though, now they are the masters of hip-hop.
