My Birthday at the Ottawa Concert!!

Hello. I am coming all the way from Saskatchewan to Ottawa, Ontario for the Beastie Boys concert on November. 10.... this is also my birthday, I was wondering if it was possible to just get my name said or anything at the concert that would be kick @$$.... (y) :)

Think of a creative outfit to wear for the pageant and maybe the Boys will notice you. Then hold up a sign that says "It's my birthday' and maybe they will say Happy Birthday on stage.

I'll be up front at the show so I'll try to pass them the info if I can. ;)

I'm getting so excited for the show! Nov. 7th in Montreal and Nov. 10 in Ottawa. Two Beastie shows in 1 week woohoo!!!

I am going to the AUSTIN SHOW tomorrow and I will let you know if they do anything for ME for MY BIRTHDAY! I am hoping like the other guys said if I dress up in some fresh attire and Bring in a BIG ASS sign telling them it is my birthday, HOPEFULLY they will notice since I am pretty close to the stage.

Do you know how close you are sitting?

What kind of attire are you gonna wear? I was thinking some loud colors and some BIG GLASSES.... maybe a crazy get-up suit....

Hey everyone!! Sorry haven't been on the site for awhile!! haha Thanks for the great idea for an creative outfit to wear, now just figuring out what to wear is the trick! Any ideas??? Maybe if i start now i can get a whole bunch of that paper that you can print pictures on then iron it on to your clothes and iw ill do a whole outfit of that and put it's my birthday on it!!! this girl actually ran into them at a vegan restraunt in downtown denver, and she told them she was going to the show and it was her birthday. they were really nice to her, then in the middle of the concert they told everybody it was her birthday and wished her a happy birthday. then when they were doing a set on the local radio station after the show, they said it again, they said "yeah we met this really cool chick and it's her birthday so happy birthday meagan" or monica or something like that. so now all you have to do is run into them during the day before the show :rolleyes:

I saw the boys in AUSTIN on the 22nd and it was my birthday! The show was AWESOME!!! I made a sign that said "HEY BBOYS! Sing to me! Happy Birthday Corrie!" I wore a big AFRO wig, BIG roung glasses and a Crown! I also made up a shirt and with iron on letters that it was my birthday that asked the boys to please sing to me! I even had blinking lights on it! (I will try to post a picture later)
Unfourtunatley, my husband's friends truck broke down. So we were stuck waiting on him. :( :eek: :(
But- One of the band members DID SEE the sign and gave me a shout out right at the end. THAT WAS SO BAD ASS AND I SCREAMED SOOooo LOUD!!! But, really, it would have been SWEET for the boys to give me a shout out! I think I would have jumped right into the next section!

HAVE FUN everyone and BE CREATIVE when you go, they love to see all the people dressed up for their show! :p

Holy man!! That was the best concert I have ever been to, even though they didn't say Happy Birthday but taht is ok! I was so happy when they came back at the end and sang Intergalactic!!
