Read about this here. (http://www.dailynews.com/Stories/0,1413,200~20954~2471181,00.html)
It's one thing for one person to disobey an order, but eighteen??
Folks, we have a major problem here when a simple transport vehicle can't be maintained correctly or an armed escort can't be arranged for our own people.
So remind me please: where again is all of OUR--i.e. the taxpayer's--money going to in this war??? I just cannot believe our government could be this f'ing cheap. But if so, why should I be surprised--it seems like our government is almost completely operated by former corporate employees who it looks like are still practicing their "do-it-cheap-as-possible" way of doing things with little regard to the human and long-term consequences of doing so.

Wasn't it 17? I think I read it on BBC. Err CNN maybe. Whatever the case may be. They should stop being such big fucking pussies. There is no one to blame but themselves (perhaps their ignorance). But in any case, they should have said "oh shit" once Bush declared war on Iraq. Not now in the face of WAR. Some patriotic mothefuckers they are, I hope people spit on them once they return like some Vietnam vet.

Someone should point those Clark County inbreds to them, let them have their way with them, and thus propogate the next set of water-head yank spastics in advance.

Just being the devil's advocate here but if 18 people all refused a certain order don't you think their might be some validity to their reasoning? Even in a war there is a difference between bravery and outright stupidity.

Heh, whoops!
And as for unpatriotic, shit. If not supporting the war is un-patriotic in the eyes of many, how would not following orders be otherwise? Also there were more men to take their place, so it must be in the eye of the beholder.

Hey, I don't know all the circumstances, but if they didn't have functioning equipment to perform the mission, then hello.....
If an officer says, "Go jump in that fire-fight", and the soldiers rifle doesn't work, than the soldier can say "Screw that, Sir" ;)

Fortunately the Army has a little thing called U.C.M.J (Uniform Code of Military Justice) Disobeying a direct order is shall we say, frowned upon.

The loads of fuel they were to deliver had been refused once because of water contamination.
Seems like a CO had his head up his ass asking them to risk anything in trying again.

It cannot be argued that you are very opinionated. Your one word response and your screen name would seem to indicate that you may be from the south and perhaps a NASCAR fan.

Apparantly I wouldn't be smart enough to know. I must be too far down the "totem" pole for you.

Outstanding. I have not met one (fundamental) on these boards yet. It is easy to see just by what's posted here that every example in II Peter about the last days is upon us.

2 Peter 2
1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Kerry voted against supporting the troops.
Vote for Bush for a 2nd term and get the armour and supplies the military really needs for the third year in Iraq because it wasn't that important in the 1st and 2nd.
I've been to Clarksville. Total military town. More bars and cardealerships then you can shake a RPG at.

And Bush actually cut wages, and spending. And since we are on unbased "facts" I might aswell say this. Bush killed 2 peopl during his service in the National Guard, 2 babies might I add. Also he eats buckets of dead puppies for breakfast. And little shits like you for lunch... "You eat pieces of shit for lunch?" ..Yes you do.

Well then I'm sure you've heard how John Kerry raped Tom Daschle. Also he beats on little children just because they can't afford to pay $1,000.00 for a hair cut like he does. And he hates ducks

Deuteronomy
2:30 - But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the LORD thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as appeareth this day.
2:31 - And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land.
2:32 - Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz.
2:33 - And the LORD our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people.
2:34 - And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain.
