I got the tickets just now through ticket master. I couldn't get and floor or even tier a. I am stoked to have them though. It is official. Last time I saw them in detroit it was at Cobo and Bad Brains didn't show up so hurricane had to open. that was the shit. I think the roots were supposed to be at that one too and they didn't make it. the fungus was umong us and i am syked to go back to some origional tour spots in my life. I think i was 16 or 17 yrs old then. i probably skipped a bunch of school for that tour. the next night was chicago then minniapolis then seattle??? then BC. hard to remember it all. I do remember the Knicks lost and mca was really bummed about that. that was the tour where I got to meet all three for the 1st time. Reguardless, i will be at the Detroit show and lets rock this mutha fucker like 3's the hard way. Peace, DUBLIRIE :rolleyes: :p :D

I checked ticketmaster, only teir 3 tixs still available, this show needs to sell out, show the boys(as if they don't know), how we roll up here in the D. I was on top of things and got floor tixs but the show will rock from anywhere in that place.

I will be in the D. Will only be my 2nd B-Boys show. I saw them at Auburn Hills in 1998 I think it was. I have a scare on my noggin to prove it! MMM did a show at Crutch Cargo after, I think (I was drinkin whiskey and had a slight cuncussion), does anyone know if this will happen again?

shazam, you beat me to the punch line....I don't know where the after party is but across from cobo there is an old skool punker bar that is tagged from top to bottom. I want to go back there and find what I tagged after the last cobo show.

There are mad spots in D-town so lets get something crucial going on.

my local radio station 89x is giving away two sets of tickets away 4 times a day all week, you just have to catch the bombtrack, maybee you can get better tickets that way

word Detroit...I will be sportin my blond hair with my friend and she's asian with long hair. Who knows what we will wear--probably some puma shoes and pimp gear. We will have a crew too....some from down south and some from west. Parking structure is always a blast. No worry about the upper tier tickets...I always seem to make it to the floor if needed. We wanted seats in case we wanted to rock the kids that are trying to sit down...Mad Respect Home state cruisers....... :p :mad: :p

So the show's sold out?

I'm thinking of driving up from Dallas b/c the show I saw here was just too incredible, I have to see it again. I wanted to do GA since I had seats last time but that sounds unlikely. Are Motown citizens as friendly as Texans or am I liable to get my ass kicked trying to hold my own down front? :)

What does anyone think chances are of grabbing tix outside at that arena? And this cold you speak of. . .what is that?

Yes, Motown is a very nice place. The drive is not bad from Dallas either. 18 hours. I love texas, and was just down in Aug. I talked to my friend there last night and she said the show was tight. come to Michigan, you'll get in. Its cold here so pack a jacket, gloves, hat and those cowboy boots. Hope to see ya, Peace :)

Oh Hells yes I'll be there (thanks to Scott for selling me some tickets last weekend... I know your on here so thanks man). Me and my roomie are gonna roll up from Cincinnati to see the show. I'm expecting to be there around 4.5-5. I don't think we need to be their any earlier than that do we? I was wondering if their is gonna be any type of tailgating going on by people who get their that early (ie. music and brews) and what we should hit up after the concert since we will be in D-town we might wanna just go party and drive home the next day.

Yo kids from cincinatti...there is a Marriott two blocks up. Thats where me and my crew are staying and partying. parking is 20 there though so park somewhere cheaper. the rooms are $119 I think. check it out cause it will be cold and you will want somewhere warm to chill.

can someone save a spot in line for me and my girlfriend? I have to write a test from 2-4 and probably will not get there untill 5:00, there is no way to get out of this test except for a doctors note, and I have to write, it is manditory for my course

When do you think the lines will start? Am I gonna be too late for good GA area if I'm there at 4.5?

Oh and does anyone know how they do GA i know in the past when i've been to shows they give you a wrist braclet. I know a few of you mentioned not being able to get floor tickets....well all I'm sayin is if its braclets those things come off

I've seen the B-Boys now 5 times.. and they just keep getting better everytime.

Last time at the Palace.. a friend and I sneaked onto main floor, got up near the stage, then someone lifted me up to do the crowd surfing thingy... well, the "bouncers" were putting people back into the stands that were doing that.. NOT ME... :(... I got escorted right out the back door and into the parking lot..

anyway, with a little fast thinking and alot of fast talking, I was able to B.S. a guard at one of the doors and was let back in...

about the lines, I don't remember there being any lines last time I saw beasties at Cobo. It has a big entrance that spreads everything out. And at the past 3 b-boys shows this tour, that I have been at, no lines......hmm how did I work that? What time does Talib go on?

The lunar eclipse created a freaky vibe ya know. I got tattoo'd (again) last night and will again the day before the show so I can let you all see some crucial artwork, If your lucky that is and if it is warm enough to show those parts of my skin. So look out for my back and leg because they will be soar. I don't need to get elbowed by some foolio.. :D
