Anyone win a trip to see the Beaties?

OK, please don't slam me for being a first time poster. ;)

Back in June, I won an autographed CD of TT5B and a chance to win a trip to see the BB any where the US tour took them, plus some spending money for the trip. Well, I won the trip but now they are saying that there was no money as part of the prize. The radio station says that the record company has been giving these trips away all over the country and they've never given out any money with them. I went through this message board last night looking for someone posting about winning this same package but I couldn't find anything. Has anyone here even heard of a contest like this advertised on your local radio station? If so, did it have any spending money included?

I'm excited to win the trip and really looking forward to seeing the Boys perform live. But I'm really bent that the radio station is pulling this crap. Of course I don't have any proof and they know that. It's not like it was so much money, it's that they are dicking around about it. Like I would even make something like that up, you know? It's bullshit!

If anybody knows anything about this, please let me know! It's driving me crazy!!! Thanks! :)

I don't know but if they are a legitimate radio station then surely they must operate under some sort of legislative body that regulates their activity? Or is there like an Ombudsman you can contact for Radio or something? just a thought

What city did you win the tickets in?

I know the local radio station in Chicago was giving away tix with a chance to see the Beasties anywhere in the world. Airfare, hotel and concert tix. But i don't remember them saying any cash too.
