first of all, that was the best concert ever!

the guys put so much energy into the show it was just amazing... i've never seen MCA jump around so much on stage, it was insane!

after the concert we waited around for the b boys to come out of the building and when MCA came out he was really cool to us and let us come down to get signatures and talk to him. im sure he was dead tired but he was really friendly and signed all our stuff and shook all of our hands. I expected MCA to be really cool to his fans cos that's what you always hear, but i was surprised at how well he treats his fans. i totally respect him even more after last night. it was totally unforgettable! (y)

MCA ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!

We saw Ad Rock shooting some hoops before the show at the service entrance. And also saw MMM get dropped off before the show at the same entrance. I'll have pics to post in a couple of days.

That was a lifetime experience event for me...you don't understand. I came from east Canada to see that...was worth it!

And what about Mike and Adam H. - were they equally cool? Did they talk to you guys too? (Cool about Yauch, by the way - I figured as much. :D )

actually Adrock was outside smoking but he took one look at us and went back to his cigarette... but i can understand he was tired.

mike d didn't come out before i left =(

i waited about an hour after the show till the guys started coming out. patience pays off ;)

I want him to be my lover..........haha

Anyways..It was a funny mental image..Adrock paying more attention to his cig than his fans. He looked angry in my mind.

hey chelsea, right? i was out there with you waiting devotedly too (i was the one pageanted out in the tiara and a long black vanna white dress)...

you are right...yauch's demeanor confirms why exactly i have looked up to him for about 10 years...he was the nicest, most down-to-earth guy ever... he was larger than life yet just a regular guy showing appreciation for his fans...meeting him was absolutely surreal...i keep replaying it in my head!

Must've been an incredible experience meeting Yauch! Congrats on the accomplishment :P Just kidding. Anyway, that was the best show I have ever seen in my life. Definitely top two or three concerts, but bar none the best show/performance I have ever seen put on. But hell, I've been waiting 17 years for this opportunity (since I was 9 and listened on wax to "Licensed To Ill" over and over and over again). They had never been anywhere near where I live (outside of the '98 Alamodome show that killed me to miss!), so I was just super psyched to see them finally, and thank God they didn't disappoint. Only thing that sucked - because I got in on the presale, I got pretty damn good tickets, but my buds only got into section 81/upper deck...and therefore got to rock out less than 10 feet from the Boys when they went up into the crowd during the encore!!! Ugh! But it was, like I said, a great show. By the way, I got to meet Adrock when he was shooting a scene near my house in San Antonio for the movie Lost Angels, so I haven't been completely shut out :P Just wish I could've seen them after such an awesome show!!! Definitely a moment - like Adrock mentioned after the instrumental set - I will look back on in 20 years and remember, and say, man, that was a great time. I hope you all had as good an experience as I had. Take care, everyone.

Rob

PS - Best songs in the set, at least that I was glad to see played - were "Open Letter To NYC" (my absolute fav, at least lyrically, from TTFB), Whatcha Want (my absolute fav BB song EVER), and Sabotage. By the way, I think Adrock was rightfully SERIOUSLY intense in his dedication of that song to Pres. Bush. The lyrics perfectly fit our current situation. Anyway, everyone VOTE. Please for peace!

What do you mean vote for Peace? Our best chance in the current situation is with Bush. Kerry and Bush have similar policies on the war but Bush is more likely to be stronger on our defense. Peace has never been acheived without a victory. W'04

Newby here. I saw them in Austin and they totally rocked. I've seen the boys 5 times before and this show was the best yet. I am so jealous that you got to meet Yauch. My dude did'nt want to wait around cause we had to drive an hour and a half to get home.

Hey man, whatever you think will keep the peace, vote your gut. I only said to please VOTE. I know you understood my implication, but that's just my opinion. I'm sure our "new reality" will have some ups and downs, whomever wins the election. No hard feelings, aight? If we wanna talk politics, I'm sure there's another thread close around here. That Austin show kicked ass, though, period.

Yeah I agree, Adam Yauch is very cool, very open person. He always seemed like the coolest one, if I had to pick.

I've wanted to meet Adrock since I was like 6 years old. I would have cried if he had of smoked his cig and been like that.....but I too can understand tiredness.

LUCKY YOU!!!
I'm happy for any fan that gets that chance. I'd kill for a chance like that.
