News so fresh, I could barely make sense of it. 49 Iraqis executed face down. That's a lot of prisoners. What side do you think they were on? Iraqi police soldiers, or part of the new Iraqi army, or Iraqi militants? And if so, who did it? US soldiers? Rebels? A derranged commander? Other?

Watching this story on the BBC tonight was really pretty painful. Mr.peachy was teasing me (gently) because I was crying. Those poor fucking guys. We know that they are targets, why are we not doing anything to protect them? I hate this stupid war.

We do, Kerry. Problem is he has to clean up the mess bush started.
He along with most of Congress never would have voted for the Iraq war if bush had of told the truth about the reasons right off.

I am not sold on this infidel sorry. I have seen alot of evidence to the contrary in fact.
My disagreements with Kerry are deep and touch on fundamental matters. I believed that the invasion of Iraq was "the wrong war, in the wrong place, at the wrong time" (as he now describes it) before the war was ever launched; he has come to that conclusion only recently, having voted to authorize the war. I believe the United States should withdraw from Iraq; he wants to "win" the war there. I think the military budget should be cut; he plans to increase it, adding 40,000 troops. (For what, exactly? to fight another wrong war, at the wrong place, at the wrong time?) I reject pre-emptive war; he embraces it. I oppose the wall that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is building on Palestinian lands; he supports it. I believe in the elimination of all nuclear weapons; he wants only to stop their spread. He calls for significant expansion of healthcare; I call for a single-payer system that would cover everyone. He opposes gay marriage; I back it. If he wins the election, I will pursue each of these differences vigorously.

Because an anti-war candidate would lose by a landslide against the Republican smear machine.
Even Kucinich is backing Kerry. Watch the video or read the transcript by Kucinich about Kerry here (http://www.kucinich.us/messages/092504-dennis.php)
You've gotta respect Kucinich...too bad he didn't win the nomination. Nader said he wouldn't run if Kucinich were the nominee.
If Kucinich were the democratic candidate, I would, without any hesitation, be voting for him.
