Wouldn't the same statement have been made by omission of statement? Maybe you just like to see your name on the screen.

Here I'll help you out. MC Solaar has a lot of good shit. You might have to look on the internet for his stuff or possibly your local Tower Records.

Stick it to the frogs, man.
Whenever I'm down, I turn to the french hip-hop station, because its always good for a laugh.

Euro-Hip Hop is pretty wack I think. There may be some real MCs out there but I'm not aware of that many. Most of them are posers just trying to cash in. German Hip Hop is the worst of all.

MC Solaar
They played some of his music in the Series Finale of "Sex And The City". The one song I have is "La Belle et la Bad Boy".
LOL to whoever mentioned Jordy. That kid was cute, albeit a novelty. :p

Hmmm, how about Jean-Francois Coen?
Don't know anything about French hip-hop but on Michel Gondry's DVD, he directed Coen's music video. It was semi-decent.
If you want some PRIME French punk rock. Gotta check out Metal Urbain. Beyond awesome! :D

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm going to have to check them out on ishareit.
This makes me think there must be some decent Haitian and Central American hip hop too, but I bet they'd be hard to get ahold of.

Well obviously there's Wyclef Jean for that.
He's got a new album where he sings exclusively in Creole French (save a few tracks in English). :)

Sain Supa Crew are good- I dont know what the fuck they are saying (they may be gay-bashing mysoginistic racists who kill baby animals for all I know) but their cd sounds good. And there is a fart joke in the middle of the cd. Farting is funny in any language.
