yes, that was last thursday. i got my dad to take a pic of it the next day... so that may be more impressive. :p

and yeah, it stings like hell... then it started to move down the arm until my whole arm was throbbing.
the sting itself stopped hurting after about two days.

the only consolation (apart from the sexy scar) was that i got some close up and personal attention from the sexy lifeguard.

What does it feel like when they sting you? I always wonder this.

I think it might also depend on where they sting you? I got stung on the ankle while swimming out to a boat while in Mexico, and it stung then tingled, and my entire foot went numb (couldn't move it) and was just throbbing in pain. I almost didn't make it to the boat because it was so bad. Also there were little pink/red-ish bumps all over my ankle.

Anyhow, sorry about your mishap. Glad it wasn't a shark. I refuse to swim in the ocean unless I can see the bottom. If I can't see my feet in the water, I don't put my body in the water.
