Good God.

As a fellow dog owner, I can feel you pain. If that happened to my Max, I'd be both furious and devistated at the same time.

If you need a virtual shoulder to cry on, I'll be here for ya.

I'm so saddened to hear that, Heiress.

My cats Ziggy and Iris were hit by cars within six months of each other (it'll be three years in a month when Iris got hit, she would've had kittens for Christmas). Luckily they were both found before anyone ran them over and they could call me. Ziggy had been twitching the last kicks when police found him on the motorway in the morning. They didn't even get to see their second birthday, but as a friend of mine said, they got to live a happy life and were loved dearly. And I think your dog got to live a happy life as well, she was greatly loved and now she can chase all the rabbits she wants in that big farm with all the other dogs.

I know how you feel. I had a dog that died about two years ago due to a very unfortunate accident. She wasn't even two years old when it happened. It broke my heart.

I'm very sorry.

I'm so sorry. We've had my cat for 12 years and when she is gone I will be so sad.

But to have someone run over a dog like that, it's so awful. That happened to a dog of ours too, and we had to put it to sleep. That's one of the worst feelings in the world.

aww thanks guys

the worst part was waiting and holding and watching her for 2+ hours until the vet opened because this happened at about 5:30 am
thank god her injuries were basically all internal and she pretty much looked normal from the outside...
ohhh man :(

Buttholes need to slow the fuck down, I know one of the scariest things I've witnessed is my cat running under the tires of some guy who was speeding, I still don't know how she managed to squeak by. I thought I'd just witnessed her being killed. :(

I'm so sorry, Airesse.

That's really awful that someone did this. You had your dog for so long, too.... hopefully you'll think of lots of great memories.

Sorry to hear that. Just by you posting about it, I'm sure she lived a good good life. Losing family (cause that is what "pets" are) sucks fat wang.

Your dog was so cute. Sorry there are assholes in the world. My dogs died of natural causes. If they would have gotten run over (again) I would have been upset too. I guess you should be thankful she lived for so long. R.I.P.
