..talk about horrible TV. "Fair and balanced"? Good lord jesus, they should be banned. Propaganda in the form of news. It breaks my heart that they seem to have such an impact.

That odd character O'Reilly needs a cucumber in his ass.

Come on America. You are better than that.

People have a right to be ignorant, I see people exercising that right every day...Dog bless 'em.

Historical fact: Did you know that the official salute to the flag during the pledge (until 1942) was the Roman salute? (the same one used by the Nazis)

History makes me laugh...

Of course liberals are immune to blindly following a school of thought or person. In fact, I never see it, especially on this message board.

How funny. First he says a network 'should be banned' then later says 'come on America you're better than that.'

You're right. In an effort to be 'better' we should ban tv shows.

The reason Fux is popular is that people don't want the true news, they want entertainment gossipy type excitement.
Fux provides that niche.

Again your ignorance shows that you are, in fact, what you just stated you have a problem with. YOU are the blind follower. If you really knew this board, you'd see that alot of us are progressive thinkers with no real support for democrat or republican. We see a danger when it presents itself , you choose to embrace it and follow it blindly.

you're right man. banning is not the way to go. i didn't really mean that, it was more a clumsy attempt to express my discusst i guess

How did my statement imply that I am a follower? Just curious.

You attacked the left. Hence, your position can only be the right. In times past that may not have been the case, but in the present it can be the only position.

I did not attack the left. Just people who use selective reasoning to point out the foibles of a certain group- thus implying that group is inferior to another.

Oh, oh Conservatives are blind followers of Fox! Followers of Fox! Not us! Not us!

FOX "news" is a joke, it like the news broadcasts in the movie the Running Man. I like the Simpsons and NFL football but that's it for FAUX. Fox news reminds me of Protocol No. 2, if you know what I mean.

i don't understand though- Personally I don't watch Fox, but are you so naive to think every news channel doesn't editorialize?

All the news on TV is pretty bad though and full of informational holes. I belive that a large percentage if not all the news networks are either owned by weapons and/or fuel-electrical companies. FOX is just the network that seems to be blantantly biased in their coverage towards the (R).

FOX had done a good job of putting out shows like Simpsons, Cops, In Living Colour, etc (back in the early 90s). I just prefer not to watch, or even see a glimpse, or even hear their stupid little "fear tactics and Defcon warnings" in between timeouts of the Colts game.

FOX is news "entertainment", for those who want to be scared or told what to do. John Stewart does a better job of informing people by using comedy rather than fear. Don't believe the hype !
