how'd they find where she lived? or do you give that info out freely when you make an LJ?

Actually, they can get your registration information from livejournal which has your e-mail address. Tracking via your ISP is pretty easy if you are the government, don't you think?

We had a private detective on another site I worked on that tracked a chick down who was making death threats against the artist. Your information is never anonymous.

yeah, stupid question now that i think about it...hell, all i need is a full name and i can probably find the addresses of about 70% of the people on the board (well, the americans anyway)...it's not even private (www.switchboard.com)
