How many drinks do YOU consume before entering the arena for the BBOY SHOW?

@ Ft. Lauderdale show, I had (1)Bass Ale at my house before leaving, then I had (5)New Castle Brown Ales in the parking lot of the arena, (4)jello shots as well. (2) Budweisers and (1)Double Crown and Ginger Ale during the show.

and we smoked about an acre in the parking lot too.

I was toast.

I'm a good girl these days. I quit drinking cuz it was a waste of time. All I ever do when I drink is fall asleep. Usually on the bar! Plus I'm trying to save what little hard earned cash I get for more important things.

Cuz all us girlies need to be well aware at any show so we dont get trampled, crushed and generally abused. ONly ever happens if you dont have your wits about you.

But I come out of retirement on occasion...heehee

i didn't drink very much at red rocks, cause there's lots of stairs :o

but i had way too many hurricanes at voodoo. for those of you who don't know what a hurricane is, it's some kind of fruit juice and bourbon. lot's of bourbon. and well they come in these huge 30 ounce cups, and well you can order extra shots. thank god i remember the show and was able to dance, to the great dismay of those around me :p

Dang Motownfunk, good question. I think i will have a pre drive spliff then when we hit the condo to pick up homegirl we might do some quick shots, I am sure we will have new castles in the lot and I may bring a Sammy Smith Oatmeal Stout to be safe.

There's no set amount...Before the Philly show I had I think like six and then got 2 more inside and had 1 after....It just depends on how many you bring with you and how long you hang out outside....I think I have always had a few before going to concerts its always been part of the whole experience.

okay before the new orleans show.. slammed a budweiser in the cab on the way to the city park..,, then had 27 miller lites , with 7 yards of southern comfort hurricanes, with the extra shot in each..... then the show was over ,,, but as for the austin show drank 6 kegs of guiness, smoked 13 blunts of hydro and 15 grams of shrooms ,, good show huh? :)

I had zero, as I was the one driving an hour and a half to and from the St. Pete Times Forum. Dr Deaf had 4 beers before we entered the Forum, and several inside before the Boys came on.

I took Friday off from work the day of the Austin show. I slow smoked a brisket for 20 hours starting Thursday evening. Tapped a keg on Friday around 3'ish outside with a slew of booze inside. Had the badminton court set up in the front yard, and had the jams kicking. Floated the keg by 7:30 and all the brisket and 20 lbs of sausage all gobbled up. Needless to say, we had a nice crew of 20+ with their Big Buzzes rolling along nicely before we got to the show. Plenty of folks with elephant tranqualizers in tow, as well. Fabulous time. And Kenny, I hate to admit it, but you might have out-pimped me with your wares. 6th or 7th time to see them, and they definitely brought their "A" game.

None before. I'm always packing a flask and other party supplies to take into an event. For an all day, outdoor festival such as Voodoo it's all about pacing! Too much too soon would not be pretty. Shooting some good tequilla and smoking all day set a perfect stage for my first BBoy concert!

btw, a hurricane is usually made w/ rum but since Southern Comfort was a Voodoo sponser at the festival they were SC.

Heh Heh! Still not sure what time I will get there, will have got married on the Saturday 4 days before so it depends on what time the new wifey lets me out the house! I wanna be at the front of the queue!

PS I have not been to a concert in the standing area since seeing Public Enemy in '90, whats the deal with disappearing off to the bar/toilet etc...do u lose your place/position? :)
