:D Hypestyle Hot Chicken Stew
my hot soup recipe for cold evenings..
forgive me if these are not exact measurings.. i'm kind of a 'go with the flow' guy..
big stew pot
fill it 6/8 of the way with tap water.. cover..
turn up high heat, and boil!
when the water has a nice good roil to it (that was not a typo.. see dictionary.com), then add:
..two or three chicken breasts, preferably skinless..
roughly 2 cups each of chopped broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and green beans.. preferably frozen, but also most green veggies will do (mixed vegs, peas, brussells sprouts)
let it boil in open air for good while..
when the chicken is tender, take out, de-bone if it's on the bone, chop it up, then toss it back in..
then add:
big can of cream of chicken soup
cup of white and wild rice
dashes of: onion powder, cayenne pepper, mrs. dash (original)
drop in 6, 7, or 8-- heck, 10, jalepeno pepper slices, & a little of the juice.. (cowards may ignore this item)
lastly, 1/2 cup of milk... 1%, 2%, skim, doesn't matter-- unless you're into alternative milks in which case, proceed with caution..
in about roughly 90 minutes, you have a minor masterpiece, that should yield... I dunno.. a lot of bowls.. really good if you like soup (like I do) and don't feel like screwing around with cooking every day...
