how were your birthdays when you were a kid? my parents went all-out for me and my sister's birthdays. we always had a clown, piniata, games and prizes, goody bags, whatever theme we wanted that year, cake and ice cream, and 15 -not exaggerating, we always invited about 15- kids over. i was looking through photo albums and asked my mom why they always made a huge thing about it and she said they wanted us to have good memories.... so yeah. here's my favorite pictures of my birthdays. post yours, too.

My friends tried to organize one for me but it fell through. They were going to buy me a guitar with everybody pitching in. It ended up my friend Samantha and Tom buying half of it and me the other half.

But I still haven't had a party. Ever.
