so that i could receive spam from beastieboys.com. Its fine if beastie boys want to vote for kerry and all that but i think its too much mass emailing this shit to people who signed up for the news letter expecting to get beastie boys related news. I also thought it was quite ironic that beastie boys recommended people to watch eminems new single "mosh" in the news letter when they have come out in the past saying how they dont approve of eminem's violent songs or homophobic slurs.

It's not really spam. It's solicited communication from the band and BeastieBoys.com. If you'd rather not get it though as you will get things like this as part of the deal, then you can unsubscribe using the link provided at the bottom of the email.

Did you subscribe your new email address? You can do that here (http://f.chtah.com/s/46/288127285/beastieboys.html).

phatpat - so what if the beasties don't approve of eminem's sometime violent, sexist or homophobic lyrics. if the man decides to do something a bit more mature and tries to get a message out, why not support it if sharing the same thoughts on the issue? i don't care who it is, if someone tries to influence the masses to go out and vote i'd support it for the good thought that it is.

I can see your point, PhatPhat. Actually, my first thought when I read the latest was, "If this were from anybody but my favourite band in the world, it would have gotten on my nerves." And I'm not even a Bush supporter.

technically they can send you all a newsletter with a "you should bbuy the ipod mini, it's really good" message. if they feel like they wanna tell you all something they can. and if you're not cool with it, unsubscribe
