First thing this morning, I turned on the tv to check the "score". I knew it was over. I've had this sick feeling all day. The people didn't win. Just the select few.

A friend sent me this, I don't know who wrote this or what site it came off of, but I bekieve its extremely poingnent.

"The people have spoken
but what have they said?
to hell with healthcare
and soldiers dead
we don't need jobs
the Lord told us so
40 days in the desert
to find Mexico

The people have spoken
now what should I do?
my children are hungry
and his children are too
turned out the baby killers
and all the gays
and them dark skinned folk
never mattered anyway

you can ban gay marriage
but not stupidity
and thank God for that
or else where would we be?

the people have spoken
raining oil outside
lets roll around in it
wash away the lies
you better stay frightened
we'll ring Pavlov's bell
and send all the liberals
straight to hell

the people have spoken
it's time to divide
one side for the groom
the other for the bride
she'll spread her legs
for all who say
that God's will be done
in the U S of A

if you feel like screaming
keep it inside
save your tears for when
the next soldier dies

The people have spoken
but there's a mother out back
with a folded flag
a son dead in Iraq
but just to make sure
she stays focused today
they've taken her job
the new American way"

This country is pretty much divided 50/50 and is in trouble. Remember that: "A house divided against itself cannot stand." . And those select few who voted for GWB, who find he won't and will not help them, will have to wait 4 more years to correct a great maistake.

Let's put a W in the LOSS column.

you mean the select few voted for Kerry.....

the select majority voted for Bush...

and your friend, with whining and crying like that, will be writing some new rhymes with an attitude like that :

"Oh Woe is Me,

Will work for food, or write poetry"

:p

Thinking like that will only keep the country divided.

I apologhize to Daisy and the other admins for being a follower and posting on the boards that were shut down for their politicalness! Now I know there is a political board....

Anywho, I was not able to reply to the ass that pissed me off earlier....

I was merely stating that I listen to people who are actually in the military and fighting for our country, like my friend Tim who served in Iraq, my cousin Josh who is in the army reserves, and several other people. I have never fought a war and I don't see how it is any of my business to send innocent men and women over seas for reasons that are not justified. And I don't think it is fair of other people who will never die for this country and fight to send people to war. If soldiers I know do not feel there is a war on terror, then I believe them, not people who send other people to do their dirty work. Yes TIM has influenced me a lot, but I MAKE MY OWN decisions, always have and always will, so what ever your name was, kiss off!

Yes, lets forget our differences. So what if one side believes in genocide for Oil, we must hold hands. Like Jesus and Lucifer.

Let's put a W in the LOSS column. How are we going to do that, exactly? He's going to be termed out in 4 years. I guess we could vote for a Dem Congress, but the people voted against that, too. :(

Did anyone notice that today the White House said they're going to run out of credit (reach the debt ceiling) in two weeks? Must be nice to just be able to raise your credit limit when that happens...

And nice that they didn't bother to address this issue before the election.
