Never heard their stuff, can't really download it cause this isn't my computer.

What kind of music is it?

They'll be here next week I thought about going to the show.

Only go if you're really up for it, they seem to like involvement fromm the audience in their songs.

They put on an excellent show otherwise (y)

Of course you should. They are the best feminist punk electronica band around ;). I'm going to their Vancouver show on the 23rd and I'm so excited!

^ I really enjoy it. It is a little different from their others, though. I was very impressed by my second listen. It shouldn't cost more than $10, so it's definitely worth buying.

Has anyone seen them in the US this tour as headliners? They had an interesting video show last time I saw them at a club.

If we lived in the same city, we'd be at all the same shows. :D I'll give respect to any man who sees Le Tigre.

In Minneapolis, it will be an all ages show. I understand why female bands do that but it's a bummer because if I have to choose between drinking and good placement.

My straight guy friends who are my age are usually cool, but they would not be secure enough to go to a Le Tigre show. Hell, it's getting difficult to get them to a club to see anyone lately.

I was happy to see so many straight men at Sleater-Kinney so maybe the guys of Minneapolis will surprise me with Le Tigre this time 'round.

Well here 90% of the female audience was gay, so you wouldn't have'd that much of a chance ;)

I'm pretty sure that was true in Melbourne as well. And it was a more theatrical-looking lesbian community than you see here.

The lesbian audience was never reduced here in the gay mecca of the midwest. But they're less theatrical-looking than in Melbourne.

I saw them since I last posted. They had the video show. It was fun.

(Sinead O'Connor and Violent Femmes seem to have their audiences and I'm not sure how. No lesbian connection, just an observation.)
