Buddhists inherently are incapable of killing, which is why war was never an option.

The PRC (Chariman Mao + Deng Xiaoping) trained their soldiers to treat buddhists as non-humans. And if their government can kill and subjugate people who do not fight back, then wouldn't those who engage in business with them have no shame or scruples? Or are we all just a bunch of hypocrites trying to make a buck?

Yes. Sadly, most people are trying to make money and not considering what their actions are supporting. The world's governments turn a blind eye to the suffering of others for financial gain.
